Call me a "glutton for punishment"... but I am in DE for the long haul. I'll use my alternate as a combatant when I become near-terminally bored.

Let's just say that I think I know which skills I will trade in to get the SP for finishing MasterWeaponsmith.

I'm sticking around, but maybe not for long...

I'm going to wait to see how Publish 7 goes (after it hits live), and see what direction Publish 8 is going, and probably make my decision then. That new "no free checkers" post by TH has me a little weary about our future.

I feel the same.

The enhanced Probots (if kept at current stats) are enough to keep me going until Publish 7 to make them and make some cash (the 997 Probot Chassi I have need to go to use), but unless there are some utility droids that are truly utility droids and not novelties when Publish 8 information is finalized I think I'll be trying TKA.If only the current crop of propsed utility droids is implemented, I may return to the DE profession with the space expansion if Droids are allowed to have utility use there. Since the Space Expansion is still being made, I highly suggest that they find a way to balance in Droid skill modifiers the same way they have BE and Chef skill mods in live play now if they are not willing to allow droids to be used for true utility on land.

I gave up MDE yesterday. I'd planned on being one for quite some time, but the way things have been going,and are scheduled to go turned me completely off. I wish all of you the best.

I almost feel as though you would all be better off with leaving things as they are and just ask them to fix the current problems.

It seems as though you keep asking for solution A, and they come back and tell you that based on your wishes, they are giving you solution B... which is something you never even asked for.

Yup. I hope they remember that, when dealing with the DE community, there are a lot of IT people and programmers here that don't qualify as the regular code 'dummies' that they sometimes interact with in other professions.


In that regard, we are WAY harder on them than they would likely prefer. I think that's good. We need to hold their feet to the fire by calling them to the carpet on issues.
