Thread: My droids are not motivated enough!

I looked in the faq and didnt see anything on this. I have grinded my way to blueprints 3 to start makin the cool stuff. I am lookin at the probots which require an "advanced" motivator. So I look around in the skill tree to see what it will take to get this schematic and lo and behold, it doesnt exist. I thought mabee it is like the power cores where you got toget themfrom an archetect. Nope, dont see them in their skill tree either along with the other engineering professions. I asked a de and he says you make them but did not say how. I am kinda stumped on this one. How do I motivate my probots?

Sincerely Leadhead

You learn the schematic for droid motive system at Novice DE & you learn the schematic for advanced droid motive system at Blueprints 2.

Hope this helps

no wait there it is in my schematics, it just doesnt load into my crafter, even when I am next to a public crafting station.

You needtobe in front of a Weapon/Droid crafting Station to see the schematic.

It doesnt show up next to the weapon/droid public terminal either. I am definately sure it is a bug, so I am sending it off. thanks for the help.

Leadhead,

It's time for you to either purchase a private crafting station from an architect, or make yourself a droid-based crafting station. If you cannot do this, find a house with one you can use.

More complex schematics require better-quality crafting stations than you'll find around town. It's not a bug.

I agree that it's nota bug. You need a private crafting station. You can find them in many houses, or you can make one, if you can make the Weapon Crafting Station Module and then put it in a droid. This counts as a private crafting station. The Weapon Crafting Station Module is short for Weapon, Droid, & General Crafting Station Module -- it's the same thing.

I have no issues motivating my droid's. Course being a wookiee they might be a tad scared of me.

I have 5 weapon and droid crafting stations that I made myself. They have somewhere around a 5-7 functionality rating (does this actually do anything?). Even when useing those next to a public crafting station in a town or something, The schematic still does not show up to be crafted. I have checked and am able to craft every other schematic. Mabee I am not understanding you guys. I have read this site and trust me I am on board with the fact that you are the subject matter experts, but I still say "bug".

Sorry for the double post. Thank you, I will try to craft in a house and see if that makes a difference.

When I say crafting station, I am referring to having crafted a droid with a 'Weapon Droid crafting module' in it. This is a module which can be crafted and crafted into a droid. When you say you have 5 crafting stations, I'm afraid it sounds like you're really talking about crafting tools, which is a different matter.

In order to produce all higher level schematics, you need to use both a tool like you mention, and either a private, in-home 'Weapon/Droid/General Item Crafting Station', or a droid equipped as I mentioned above.

Any of: Using either a public station, using NO station, or using a 'Generic crafting tool' will disallow the more complex items from being crafted.

I hope this helps clear things up.

Ok, I think it is sinking in to my thick skull. BECAUSE you are a wookie, I will have to trust what you say j/k. Us wookies have to stick together. I will find a private crafting station in someones house and let you know how it goes. If I am able to craft the module, I will post what a major dumba$$ I am and you guys all rock! lol! But ooohhh man if I cant craft this device....You will be officially black marked ass swg dev lovers!

I am just jokin around by the way.
