It just amazes me that, although droids are such a big part of the Star Wars universe, you guys seem to be the single most ignored and underdeveloped Profession in the game.

I looked at your Dev feedback, and even that seems like some half-contrived "gee, boss, they're really angry, maybe would should throw them a bone" kinda statement. This is stuff they should have been thinking about a long time ago.

Anyways, I know I'll be wanting to buy a droid when they do something that actually helps me out, so stick with it.

and quite honestly we're not nearly as bad off as most of the people on these forums will complain we are. While we do have our fair share of bugs, there are some professions that are worse off than us. I get more orders than I can handle and can make everything I've got, thats more than you can say for some professions.

Yep,

We can make all our droids ... but then someone could spend all of 10 skill points in DE and make most of em too, and make em just as good as me as a master. Where is out prestige from being great at it or anything like the weapon, armor and medical folks?

That is my biggest problem with the profession - we are all the same **edit** thing no matter what we do.

Yeah, you only need to be 3/2/0/0 and sell the best medical droids modules with crafting station.. which is what is DE's sell the most of. Imagine if a novice weaponsmith combined 4 or 5 D18 pistols to make a gun that hits as hard as DX2 made by a master WS. That is exactly how messed up the DE tree is.

Don't worry, there is enough self-pity to go around.

Thanks though.

Thanks LeBob.

This was Waterloo for Smugglers. I wonder who'll be the first to throw in the towel.

Honestly greifking, I don't know why. The only way this'll help you is your Faction Point sales will skyrocket. But you're not gonna get a lot of Imps wanting you to smuggle. They'll rather pay the one time fee to be "high ranking officers." But that's just my opinion I could be wrong.

No, that's exactly what will happen.

With the millions of credits that many people haev collecting dust in their bank accounts, I can assure you that it'll be a busy first week for Imperial Colonel Master Smugglers, who will be selling FP like there's no tomorrow. Hell, if I could buy a profession's skill with credits and FP, I'd do the same.

But the joke's on me - other people can buy my profession's skill, but I can't return the favor.

Maybe this is a good thing and will be a big money sink, getting rid of the millions of credits that people have sitting in their bank accounts?

Evarn Terallis - Master Smuggler on Kettemoor

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04

Not really. They'll just make a few more Krayt T21s, harvest some holocrons or skill tapes, or run a few missions and be back in the black. All this does is hurt us. That the devs can't figure that out is even more depressing. I'm back to my previous statement: end of this month, if I don't see any real improvement, I'm voting with my feet. I'm not paying $15 per month to be pissed off and disappointed on a regular basis.
