Thread: Who started as a DE and Still is one?

Just curious how many are Still DE's that started it when the game was new, oh so many years ago.


Mabe Miller, Eclipse ---- DE from start and still going strong!


I dont post as much as I should in here I am sure, but I do troll through it a couple times a day normally.

I too have always been one, always will be until the end of my SWG days I suppose. I still remember making my first MSE droid some 1.5 years ago, it was neato then and it's still neat. The bugs in our profession have taken the wind out of my sails lately but things can only get better I hope. (The harvester droid bug is getting fixed real soon, right? RIGHT?!?!....right lol.

The first professions I mastered was Artisan, then DE. Has MDE since October 2003.

i started on de a month after i started playing the game and still plan on staying as one.

My first intent after naming my character, was DE.

I remember grinding Bone Armor chest pieces to get novice DE, because peronal harvestors gave Architect Xp. Then I grinded out the food/clothing of artisan also on Bone Armor, but then realized that Travel Packs took much less organic resources so I grinded them until I got Master Artisan.

My first weekend of being a DE was when the bug hit us that we could not make certain droids, the MSE Droid was one of them. I used Seekers and Probes to grind out 1004 DE, just so I could make money to afford my personal harvestors, that I had made myself. I made 4304 by December 03 at which point I opened the doors to my first shop out in BFE Naboo, my guild thought we would get a City to build out there, needless to say we were way late in getting one.

I mastered DE in Januarya few months before the DE revamp, I have only recently took off my MDE tag to show a guildie I am an Ace Pilot, it was only for a few seconds, and changed back to MDE.

I have been a Master DE since launch. Well really since about a month after launch. As well as a Master Artisian. And I still enjoy every minute of it.

I started Eeno as an entertainer, because I had such a good time with my Ent during beta... but once I started making my instruments, I realized that I could use artisan to get my own wood and metal. So I did that, and ended up getting Master Artisan before I got the first box past Novice Musician.... I started working at tailor, and by October 03, I was a DE, and had to chip away at my entertainer and tailor skills to get master DE with master artisan. During the hologrind for a few months I dropped DE to grind other professions, and mastered 25 before the revamp hit... and I didn't unlock. So I was liberated from my hologrinding and went straight back to MA/MDE.

Right after CU, I unlocked. I needed some combat skills to finish the paddy trials, so I went MSmuggler/Mpistols, which I'm keeping. My alt, Labs, is now a MA/MDE as of two nights ago.

I started about a month and a half after the game was out. Still a DE, but I have a few accounts.
