I have been MDE / MA on 2 servers from the beginning. One account is all I have ever had. The other skillpoints went into Pistoleer and Dancer respectively.
My judgement may seem flawed 
but it's been an interesting road! Someone once told me there is allegedly 'high end' content in this game I guess I was never destined to see it!

I bought the game the seccond the special edition apeared in stores... Just because i read i could be a droid engineer. Only thing is i had to wait a month or so before i got the internet... But the first skill i took was Artisian so i could be a Droid Engineer. And a DE i shall remain untill the end of all time.

I'll be a DE till the end.
But nowadays only BH droids and JTL droids/ accessories are selling.
I hope they make combat droids worth producing or give the medical module some use.

DE is why I joined SWG. There has been about 2 months combined time since l mastered it that I have not had master DE. I dropped a couple times to try out Chef and Tailor.

I mastered DE in July last year, only took a little "vacation" during respec phase, now back to hybid

My first acount, I became DE, and have always been master DE sence release, then Guild Leader, Master merchant, mayer and master politician, andsoon to bemaster pilot.

only playing for a little over a year, but DE was my first elite profession, and I am still a DE

DE from day one, even with the respec never wanted to change to something else.

I also beacame a DE after 3 weeks in the game...maybe not as long as some of you guys but a Wookiee without a technical skill is unthinkable...also suck to the MDE after and during respec...why just because i refused to switch the easy way as so many did and also out of pure Wookiee stubbornes to stay the way i am...even the CU and whatever patch messed some things up pretty bad...

I did
Started as DE cuz of love to droids - took up Armor cuz of love of money.
Now i love both - and since all respec BH needs those droids i actually make money from droids now.

I started playing SWG thinking about MWS and MDE. MWS was a matter of several weeks after SWG launch, MDE took another 3 days and I stay with this setup for nearly 2 years now. No idea of changing it to something else
