And it's also important to keep in mind that unless you master DE, you're experimentation will be limited. Even with 1000 rated resources, unless you have a high enough assembly and experimentation rating, you won't be able to produce "max" detonation modules. DE dabbling is kinda tricky.

I only (please read again: ONLY) want to be able to make dz70 droids with detonation modules (det power 18 i think is the max for them?). Thats all i want.
I know that i will have to buy the det modules from a master DE thats no problem. From what some DE's online have told me, i can make the dz70's and put the det modules in it with just DE 0002 .
Is this true?
If so, doesnt experimenting on droids increase the amount of modules you can cram into a droid? (cause id have zero experimentation with 0002) Or is the number of modules dependant only on chassis type?
What exactly does experimentation do for a droid anyways? Only thing i can think of is battery life and ham bars.
(bear with me im completely ignorant on DE stuff).
Yes, this would work. If its a good idea, is another thing. If you are certain to buy/trade for the det. Mods, you might want to only take 0001 DE and use MSE advance, as these get a +10 Bonus on each det. Module.
Experimentation at the Moment is only for the HAM, the number of Module Slots is dependant on the Chassis.

thank you much.
I chose the DZ70 because it has no terrain neg issues since its a flier... i once tried to have an mse chase a creature up a hill...lol it barely moved. a dz70 or probot flier oth, went up rather nicely.

No experimenting on the droid iwll raise it's HAM values. DZ70s make terrible bomb droids, they would "max" at 20 det power, with perfect modules. You would be much better off with MSE's.

My advice would be : take DE 0001 to make Advanced mouse.
Buy a factory, find the ressources, and ask a MDE to make your high experimentated Detonating module Schematics.

I understand your Terrain issue, however, each point of detonation power equals about 150-200 points of damage. Yet if you put those into an MSE, each module gets +10, so basically you get 20 extra points detonation rating, meaning 3000 - 4000 points of damage extra.
Also consider that a large % if the value of Detention Droids is the Detonation Modules themseves, you probably wont save all that much money buying them seperatly, not if the modules are any good.

As a non Master he wouldn't be able to make Det modules anyways as that is a Master schem

Personally I would be hard pressed to sell a schem of detonation modules to another DE. That is like making my best then selling to the competition.
But thats just me.

...that depends on how much you charge.

*wink* True... but then he would never be able to re-coup the cost that I would charge....

hehe its actually for my personal use. Im always hard pressed to find any DE who will make me a couple dozen dz70's packed with explosives at a constant rate. So i thought id just take the bulk of the work myself and just get the schematic for the det modules from a master DE.

You probably have a hard time getting them because most decent Droid engineers don't make DZ70 detonation droids. It just doesn't make much sense to lose 50% of the power using them. If you looked for MSE's, it would probably be a lot easier to find.
