I've made about 6 now. Once it got out on Sunrunner that one of them did 50k blast damage to a turret all the dedicated PVP'ers were at my doorstep. I've got orders for over 50 of them. The exploding MSE's are flying off my vendor too. I was very skeptical of the detonation modules at first was even going to not make them. My smuggler and BH customers were really excited about them and asked me to make them. I am glad I did. Those things are a hoot! In fact I am going to work an alt up to Master Merchant just so Dyna can go Novice Smuggler.
I've not made complete droids in the factory yet since the patch. Does anyone know if you can choose the color scheme of the droid in the schematic? My goal is to have the different quality MSE bombs use different color schemes.

Hi Dyna. Im also on Sunrunner: Acktu Nasrabi MDE
I dont have the required gas to make those droids. Ive been using the survey droids to check all planets for that gas each day but nothing so far. Im also thinking of making my alt a smuggler to use them (and also sure the smuggler revamp will be great!), as they sound like allot of fun! They sure sound like the droids can turn the tide of a battle pretty quickly!
These droidsremind me of "Star Trek search for spock", where Kirk was forced to self-destruct the Enterprise because it was the only way to "win".
When did you aquire the gas to make exploding modules? There is new vertex on Sunrunner, not as good as the one that came a few weeks ago but still pretty good quality.

None yet as I'm still lacking the named resource (gas?) to make the modules

Nada
None
Zip
I find it hard to conceive of anyone wanting to pay the 60k+ cost of a droid whose sole existence revolves around "Pull pin... THROW GRENADE".
Hell.. even the current timeline/plotline shows us that (perhaps)every droid possesses a very well defined sense of self-worth and self-preservation. I am not even looking into the future (at the New Jedi Order) of the SWEU.

I think making an exploding R3 would make me cry at the effort that goes into making one.
I've made some exploding MSE's but haven't sold any yet.

Ive just made a schematic for Adv MSE droid and yes, you can choose colors when making the factory schematic.

I've gotten about 400k of the gas in the last few days. I bought some low quality Tolium Reactive Gas and I am making two different levels of MSE bombs. One for the high rollers and one for the more budget minded. Both do impressive damage. For me prices will stabilize more once it spawns and I can mine it myself.

No, they don't. Only the R3 can hold 6 modules, which is a lot of TNT.

Complete R3's are so time consuming. First lets start with the fact that you are limited to just over 100 thanks to the need for two Adv Droid Brains. Which require four of each Electronic Module limiting you to 249 Adv Brains. So my biggest R3 chassis run is going to be 123. Luckily that means only smaller runs are needed of the other chassis parts. Adv Droid Brains are the thing thats going to keep me from really mass producing these.
*sigh* I think I need another factory. I have 3 running full time since the patch.

As it should be. R3's are our top-of-the-line chassis and they should not be easily mass-produced.
