Thread: How many exploding R3's have you made?

As it should be. R3's are our top-of-the-line chassis and they should not be easily mass-produced.

Well, since Tolium is but a distant memory on Kett, I haven't been able to make any to sell myself. However, I did have someone bring me a bit of it just so I could make some for them. We had enough for 4 MSE's (1 mod each)and 2 R4's with 3 mods each. I haven't heard how well they worked yet, though.
Now Vertex I've got coming out of my ears!
Just a heads up, probably should have made more MSE's and no R4's, the R4's have less damage potential than the MSE's and are more expensive (MSE's get +10 automatically for each module used, plus the modules own stat).
I will only make these by special arrangement. The MSE bombs (mine are 38 Power) are getting crated as I write this. I already put up 15 or 20 on my vendor tonight. I suspect they will be gone pretty fast.

Blowing up r3's...... uuuuughhh.. I dont think I can, but.... would an r5 carry the same bang for the buck? How about DZ-70's?
No, they don't. Only the R3 can hold 6 modules, which is a lot of TNT.
Yeah, but Jaxus specifically asked for 'bang for the buck', not the most damage.
As I understand it (not having the gas to experiment) advanced MSE droids give you the most damage per credit. 10 points is added to the explosive value of each detonation module put into them. Assuming you have perfect modules the R3 will max out at 60 points of explosive power and the MSE will Max out at 40. As I understand it the damage done is linear so the MSE will do 67% of the damage of the R3, however it will cost far, far less to produce. Certainly they will cost less than 40k (as opposed to the 60k+ being quoted by someone above for an R3).
As modules have lower explosive values the Advanced MSE comes even closer to the damage value of a comparable R3 since the module bonus is an additional +10 rather than a multiplier. In fact if the explosive value of the modules is only a 5 due to materials than the R3 will be equal to the Advanced MSE (30 points).
