Thread: Fixing the Structure Modules
It's not taking still in some chassis/module combos.
I have no problem putting one in a BLL, but I can't get one to work in an R3 (yet it seems other people can).
It's very odd - I think it may have to do with what other modules are in the cluster but I haven't spent a lot of time wasting R3 chassis to find out.
After the first couple of day couple of days, when folks started saying things were working again, II tried putting the structure module in an R3 cluster, The crafted R3 gave no indication that the module was ever installed. I then put it in a standalone socket in a ADV Protocol Droid (which, when you think of it, is about the perfect use for a protocol droid makes them more than chatty decoration). That worked fine. Yesteday, I pulled it out of the old data pad and it just looked at me when I tried select Run Maint.or even Edit Maint. List.
I have started making these for freinds (thank the maker I haven't charged anyone yet) and it is getting embarrasing.
I did a run of a dozen adv MSE with 2 structure modules (a mistake it turns out) tried one myself and it worked perfectly, kept another for backup, and put 10 up for sale.
I've sold out - and no complaints - BUT my MSE's don't work at all Now. Yeah it's embarrassing!
The reason they stop working is because you don't take the structure off of the droid before destroying the structure.
You need to remove it from the droid FIRST, otherwise, they lock up.
