Thread: We are Engineers !!!!
We are engineers for Dem sake !! I am no CH who is used to wildernes, and hunting, I dont care if some one wants to go huntingwith their droids, but dont make me spend all the rest of my points in combat skills in orther tobe able to play my profesion, YES i want combat droids, but I want everyone to use them, not only Me.
K, so Player cities..mmm...we 're the closest profesion to a Computer Engineer so why dont WEE make all the Terminals, the Ticket Droids, Bazaars, mission etc???
Army Corp of Engineers
Sea Bees
Navy Engineering
Just because a job says engineer does not automatically mean it is non-combat.
You are totally right, but let me adds that this profesionis Bugged, because no one needs us, except BH, and a few doctors, If we get Droidekas that only us can use, and that's all the fix, I will still think the profession is Bugged, Simply Because, I don't want to earn my money destroying Lairs.
The skills to build a bridge and then to defend said bridge are distinct and separate. When those two skill sets are combined, they create a very high value, ala Army Corp of Engineers. The combat skills would be learned (I presume) in boot camp, while the engineering skills would be learned in a more traditional education setting and/or shop. Most likely there is a third skill set as well which gels the other two, e.g. procedures to defend a bridge under construction.

theyre still soldiers
They are soldiers who are also engineers. Or vice versa. In-game this would be the equivalent of, say, the bounty hunter profession, which combines different skill sets to get one with a unique value.

OH! and this is a computer game.
Absolutely correct. But if real-world scenarios are going to be used to justify in-game operations, it doesn't hurt to see alternative perspectives. ![]()
