Thread: Publish 21, The End to All Things Droid?

Publish 21 has pretty much limited us as Droid Engineers.


The only modules that a DE can craft and have work in a droid after the first call are:


Repair, Medical, Crafting, Data and Item Storage, and Combat Modules.



All other modules will show up in the datapad info, however, you will not have a radial menu option for them. Those modules are:


Auto-Repair, Trapping, Harvesting, Barking, Effects, Payback, Stimpack, Structure and Memo Modules.


I have personally tested this in both Pre-CU droids and Newly crafted droids. I hope the Devs are listening to us out there, I have a large number of unhappy customers, which I have told to file a bug report and CS ticket. I have also been giving refunds to anyone who purchased a droid from me, in the last week.

That's it I'm done being a droid engineer. We simple want the devs to fix things not break them. It's not a unreasonable thing to expect.

Main problem is they KNEW, not just Know, and it still was released. It's just very, very, very disheartening.


Guess it's time for a vacation and some missions for the ranger and smuggler characters.


Zeno'ee's shop is still open but there is nobody behind the counter.

wow, every droid on my vendor just became useless. Except of course my BH stuff.


Is there a crafter that ISNT broken?

you forgot the bomb droids... they're broken too


No problem though. 2....3 months tops and they'll look into this.

Harvesting droids have been out for about a year now. They are not some deep dark secret. I would blame your friends or guildies more. If you have questions, you may want to ask a DE not rant at one.


Should I go rant on the WS boards because I didn't know there was a new weapon schematic out?

Man, cool down a bit!
We would advertise for them, if they would WORK! But they dont, they are broken, they harvest way less than a player. And that was before publish 21.

Yea, harvest droids are a wonderful thing!


Bounty Hunter: Damn, I'm harvesting too much hide! Something needs to be done. I've dropped all my hunting skills but I need novice scout as a pre-req and I still harvest too much. I'm pulling down over 200 hides pre kill,it's filling up my inventory too fast with these bloody 100k stacks. Do you have anything that will help?


Droid Engineer: Yea, we've got just the thing, the harvest droid! They're real expensive, and a pain in the behind to use, and will suck down batteries like nobody's business, but at least you'll harvest less by using them.

Jenden, "when" this gets fixed, can you ask if it will fix all current droids?


We need to know what to tell customers, do we give a refund, or do we just tell them to keep it and wait? Hoping it's the last one, I may may need to file Bankrupty.
