Thread: So Sintrosi proposed two naturals, Gorantoth and Drashk.
well it sure would be nice if they could get a vote up
or if sintrosi would start a vote thread
They both have my full support. Now that is assuming that either one of them want to try and take on this beast called Droid Engineer. Thier RL may not allow them to take the time to work on these issues.
Are either of you interested in this position?

I have the utmost repect for Gorantoth keeping us informed on the issues. But Drashk has done a better job of posting on the boards helping people out with our "features" For that I would vote for Drashk. But i think both would do a stellar job as our correspondent.
I agree with both statements here. Gorantoth is an excellent keeper of the list. But my vote is for Drashk.
Remember though,
The correspondent's job is not to test things, or even to voice personal opinions
They are to collect data and communicate it effectively both ways.
They need to take what we're saying and translate it to the guys that think those "clear domed R2's" are cool. And then report back to us on any activity going on behind the scenes.
Choosepeople that can record ideas thoroughly and with some brevity, and of course has adequate knowledge of the profession. Then narrow it down to those that can devote the time to maintain the boards, and those that can be assertive, yet sympathetic.
Remember, the correspondent is not our leader, they are our servant.
I agree. Lets see who has 1) the interest and 2) the time. I suppose and 3) the patience!

Whoever becomes correspondent would automatically be given the chance to level upin DE on Test, to be able to test out things, and do in-game stuff with the devs and such.

I'd be more than happy with either one of them, provided they both have Master DEs in Test and Live (I believe Drashk does; not sure about Gorantoth).

It doesn't matter, having a Master DE on any live server should be sufficient. Some time next week when the patch goes in, character copy should be running. Even if not, the correspondents get access to special terminals on TC for experience.
Well, in light of this comment and Duncje's, I think the real issue is willingness and ability (as in enough time) to testand evaluate DE changes on the Test server. Certainly, the primary role is as a player-to-Dev liason, but having a corrspondent with a finger on the pulse of changes before they go live can only improve DEs' lot in SWG.
