Thread: Droid Money
Is there much of a market for droids? I know armor and weapons wear out quickly and you have to buy new all the time, but I don't see this happening with droids.

I'd pretty much agree, but if you are already a master (Holo-grind or not), it's pretty easy to make bank pretty quickly - just make factory runs of Probots and slap them on a vendor in a high-traffic area. They sell like hot-cakes.
I've stopped selling utility droids at the moment - I got really tired of the broken frame/module combinations and all the damn Master Artisan parts - and my profits have never been higher. I find that factory crates (even not discounted) sell like gangbusters as well - people really like having an extra crate of droids in their backpacks.

Yes, this is how many of us started out. Although the 3-6K bazaar change didn't do much for me personally, I was glad that newbies could have an easier time selling upper-lower class droids.
The DZ-70 is a highly under-rated droid. I used one almost exclusively before we got vehicles and mounts. Since I often found myself having to run a few thousand meters, it was the only droidthat could keep up with me so I could run and craft at the same time. They are great little droids - thanks for reminding me.

Though I know you didn't mean anything by it, I feel like I need to point out that I'mnot a newbie, to either the game or the profession. I've been a DE since September or October; I've just chosen to get to the Master level naturally instead of grinding up to it. If I had, I'd probably be as fed up with it now as the rest of you are.
In caseanyone didn't know, this takes FOREVER. But for me it's a lot more fun than sitting for hours grinding. It's all personal preference I guess.
Again, I know you weren't talking down to me or anything, but for some reason I felt like I had to stand up for myself anyway... lol

DZ-70s rock. It is the best friend of any Medic, Doctor, or Combat Medic that is a PvPer due to its small size, ability to keep up with its owner and the 2 modules slots.I sold a number of DZ-70s to a couple of Combat Medics with 110% Medical and a Food/Chem crafting station. Now that it has a bit more HAM, it has only become more valuable.

Hehe, my apologies - I wasn't even thinking YOU were a newbie, you justreminded me how I viewed the 3K - 6K change on the bazaar. I just agreed with both points that you made, LOL.
Nothing to defend anyway - there is nothing wrong even if you were a newbie - we were all newbies at some point. However, we weren't all n00bs, lol. There is a very distinct line there for me - a newbie is just someone who is, well, new, and a n00b is someone who is not only new but lazy and/or an idiot. Since you are clearly neither of those things, and therefore not a newbie nor a n00b, you should just stop reading this now because it's late and Audio forgot to take the last dose of medication tonight and just like you said you felt you had to defend yourself anyway I felt like I had to apologize, LOL... >
