Heh. And if this bold prediction comes true, you will be right here telling us about it, correct?
But will you also admit it if it turns out to be substantially wrong?

Whoa whoa, hang on a second. Let me be sure I understand this. I've been pretty isolated to reading the Pistoleer and Correspondent forum the past few days.
Factory crates of pre-nerf FWG5 pistols have been deleted?
When did this happen exactly?
Are single pistols that were already removed from the crates unaffected?
Any other details?
Converstions with CSRs, if you submitted a ticket thinking it was a glitch?
Most importantly, can anybody confirm that this is not an isolated incident? Has it happened to multiple people?
What about Scatter and Launcher pistols? (I'll check on this in the commando/bh forums)
If this is what it looks like, I'll campaign to have the items reinstated in a hotfix. If that isn't possible, I'll do my best to at least get some answers.

I re-adjusted a month ago. Bought a newer post-nerf FWG5, got some good slices and a powerup. no issue for me... moving along

Apparently you get an e-mail when trying to extract the items? What does it say, exactly? Is compensation offered for the inconvenience?

i think it says something like this item has been deleted from the game
individual pistols have not been affected

You still in the dark on this? Yes, you get a cheery email telling you: "The Crate %TT contains items no longer used by the game and should be removed from you inventory."
Not even a "Have a nice Day" at the end, or some little smiley face thing.
As a Quickdraw on one of my servers, I will miss these guns the same way you will, in addition to being a greedy price gouging weaponsmith.

Thanks guys. I don't know that we will get anywhere, but I'm trying to fight for this. It may not be an enormous game breaking issue, but it is just plain rude. The ambiguity of the email, the casual dismissal of a player's investment.. it just isn't right.
I can only assume it was done because these were technically bugged items and deletion of bugged items is standard practice in MMORPGs. This is a gray area, however. Most items in games that are deleted for being bugged are so plainly out of whack that they disrupt everybody's playing experience, and were only attained through using hacks or exploits. This clearly isn't the case.

Another blow was dealt to the Pistoleer proffesion with the deletion of prenerf cratedFWG5's. What do the devs think, that we don't have it hard enough as it is? My prediction is that withing one month, half of the Pistoleer proffesion members will disapeer.

This is more of a blow to price-gouging weaponsmiths who hoarded prior to the nerf. Not many pistoleers are storing entire CRATES of fwg5s.

My heartfelt thanks, both as a pistoleer and a weaponsmith. I think you are taking this more seriously than the weaponsmith correspondent for some bizarre reason.

I still have a pre nerf FWG5 I bought the day before the nerf. Im kinda afraid to use it though cause it's max condition is 533 now. I also have a republic blaster that has a bit more dmg, but is half as fast that just went down to below 50% an i don't have a repair kit on me. I got a schematic for the featherweaight FWG5 from Jabbas but I hear they are "useless" does anyone know how good these are?

FWIW its worth, this affects Scatter and Launcher pistols as well.
