Here's the patch notes that relate to us, please post all comments/issues/bugs/feedback here (as well as the appropriate Dev thread).
Galaxy-wide Vendor Search is here!
Have you ever wanted to search for an item to buy without having to travel across the entire planet randomly checking vendors? Well now you can! We have enhanced the functionality of our bazaar terminals to include the ability to search all player vendors for items you may be looking for. This new feature will greatly improve how vendors are handled in the game. Read on for more information.
Overview
The purpose of vendor search function is to allow vendor owned items to be searched from anywhere in the galaxy. This will include the following functions:
* Each vendor owner can decide whether to allow his or her vendors to be searchable in the market. There is an option for vendor owners to turn on/off the search option on his or her vendor. The vendor owner will be able to find current search option settings for each of his or her vendor(s)
* When a vendor owner turns on the search option, a player should be able to go to any bazaar and list all items owned by this vendor
* When a vendor owner turns off the search option, the vendor is no longer listed in the galaxy-wide network search. With this search option turned off, vendor owners have the ability to conduct private auctions. Players will need to physically go to the vendor and click "Use Vendor" to list items from this vendor.
Vendor Status
For all the existing vendors, the default option is set to no. Players have to go to their vendors and enable this search option. For all future vendors, this option is set to yes by default. For vendor owners to check if the search option is on or off do the following:
* Select the Vendor you wish to turn search on/off for
* From the radial menu choose "Vendor Control"
Once you have selected "Vendor Control" then choose "Status"
* A pop-up window will show if the search option is on or off

Aaaand the monkey flips the switch.
Seriously, I guess we'll see how things go. All you prominent DE's out there, let's be sure to give feedback on how sales are affected, for better or for worse!

Yep, only thing to do now is watch and see what happens (and like the good craftsmen we are collect any/all relevant data for analysis).

Thanks for the heads up, I missed that one... and yes, I am going to make sure the fact that a new chassis (craftable) is something we've been asking for for a good long time is known.

The Sorting is all messed up, Straker.
I registered at a later date and still a single deed was on the first page, all the others seem to always move back, first i was at 200-350, then i was at 500+

Here are a few more visable screen shots of the Droids and JawasEvent Perk.
Droids and Jawas 1
Droids and Jawas2
Protocol Droid varient
The noise that this Event Perk produces is not for the faint of heart. All of the droids present, with the exception of the Protocol unit, make your standard droid sounds.....all in concert. I highly suggest that you turn down the volume when you place this one.

Having a look at the prices listed on Chilastra, it doesn't seem too bad atm. My price range is about 45k to 70k, and I'd say I'm above average overall of whats listed, but then I make top quality
. There are one or two places where you can get the same stuff cheaper (nearly half price), but my stuff is on the first page
.
Naturally there are some real odd ones. 120k for a LE with just a repair module? 8k for an R2 with 110 Med, Chem crafting and 8 rating storage?
But the majority of droid listings seems to be flight computers and the like.
I didn't bother to try looking through the factory crate listings.

It's a bit early too tell, but sofar:
- Most of my droids have no competition. Other DE's just don't bother to stock that many variants
- The droids that do have competition, have competion from "A Droid Deed: R3 droid" and other unclear named variants
- Lots and lots of flightcomputers
- My pricing turns out to be midrange. Weirdest thing I saw was a 200k priced R3 with all crafting stations and a storage module
- My harvesting, combat and bomb droids are the best ones listed statwise
- Factory crates listingis a mess on Eclipse, had trouble finding my 300 crates of Arakyds and Seekers!
- Having my vendors 800m from theed seems to be increasing business sofar.
- Hardly anyone bothers to stock preprogrammed chips for JTL
Vendor search in its current implementation will more likely be used to find that one rare thing or a quickbrowse for some stocked vendors then price comparing/shopping. I feel sorry for Chefs and AS. One is dealingalmost exclusively incrates, the other is stuffed between 999999999 backpacks.

the crate thing is a huge problem. I have hundreds of crates of seekers, arakyds and mse's in stock.

Begun the price wars have.
Lot more DE's out there then it seems.
Kind of lame that the people who log on first get their stuff up front.

My sales got nerfed. I did a price check and I am about average. Some bits cheaper than others and some others I am slightly more. 3 sales yesterday compared to my normal 30-50. Not looking good.
