I made a mouse droid with a lvl 2 maintenance module. the assign droid option does not come up with my droid stored or out... I made all the items today if it matters.

I just had an idea, I'm sorry if this has already been brought up. But wouldn't it be cool, if the BLL had special abilities when the structure maintence module is put in it that you don't get will other droids? I can see any of the droids placing credits or power into the structure, and finding out any information on it (i.e. is it running, ability to switch resources, etc.) But, I can see a R series or any other droid picking up the materials from said structures. I think it would be cool if the BLL is the only droid that has the ability to pick up the resources from structures. That would be really cool, because the poor BLL has absolutely no use in the game, and this one ability would then make the BLL a priceless aquisition. It also is what I think the point of a BLL is, to lift things and move them about, (obviously).



I don't know what do you think?

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents to help get this thing squashed! Help us TK!


I build an Advanced R3 yesterday for a city member, which had the following modules:


1 - WDG Crafting Station Module
1 - 10 Item Storage Module
1 - Lvl 3 Structure Maintenance Module
1 - Auto-Repair Module
2 - Stimpack Dispensers


Everything else is working for him, but he gets no option what-so-ever for Structure Maintenance. This is as of about 1 A.M. PST on 05/01/04 on Chilastra, Talus. Thanks!

My structure module seems to be nonexistent as well. It was crafted two days after the droid patch, never have seen the structure maint. options.

everyone that is broken right now.. it worked on day one and droids made day one work but the hot-fix, well.. broke it!

Might have missed it in the thread but this HAS been confirmed by a CSR via a ticket I submitted. They said to consider it broken until I saw something in hotfix notes addressing it.


I'll try to remember to post the exact phrasing of the ticket later today.

I just gained the skill to make lvl 1 structure maint modules. I was wondering is there a specific chassis it must be put in. Becuase I place one in an mse adv, and the radial menu isn't coming up on my house, I have it out and grouped. Is there something I'm missing or am I bugged?

They broke it with a hotfix - if they can't unbreak it without an act of the Galactic Senate, I have to start thinking it isn't bugged but "disabled" for some reason intentionally.


It's been close to a week now, and I've been waiting to stock those uber-merchant BLL's with item storage, barker, and structure maintainance. Besides the entertainer and harvest modules, it's really the only one that really popular - or would be if the damn thing worked.


I find it hard to believe that it's awfully complicated - even if it is complex, I really think that with the dubious function of some of the other modules (stimpack, trapping) they need to understand that they are really holding up business here.


It's going to be very irritating if we have to wait for a publish to get this addressed - this was one of the major features of the "Droids Rebuilt" publish and deserves a hotfix.

Haven't read the entire thread yet, but I'm happy this one is up here. Ok I have a couple things.

First of all, do the maintenance modules work now? I know someone said they only worked for like a day. I made one a couple days after the Droids Rebuilt launch and it simply didn't function.

Secondly, power IS a major issue. If I can't deposit power at the same time as maintenance, then it just doesn't seem too useful.

They need to set it up so that 3 modules can be used for this. There's the general maintenance module, which they've made. This one lets you deposit credits and allows the droid to make the maintenance run. This module should be REQUIRED for the other 2 to work.

The other 2 should be a power module and an already-made item-storage module. This way, the droid brings back resources from the hoppers in the item storage bin. This would make item-storage modules more useful.

I think making modules depend on each other and combine with one another would be a great way to make droids much more useful.

I'mmaking MSE and Treadwell droids with Level 3 maintenance modules that work great. It appears that the maintenance modules do not work when put into clusters, but work fine when put directly into a slot. I've also made an R2 advanced with a maintenance module by using one of the non-clustered slots.


It's actuallya nice change of paceto make something other than an R3...

Note -- I see some posts claiming that the modules do not work even when not in a cluster... I may be using pre-patch modules in post-patch droids (I think I did a pre-patch factory run). I'll create a post-patch module and build an MSE droid and see what happens.

I just tried making new ones and they're still busted, its just the pre-patch ones that work.
