Bump, and oh yeah, you **edit**ing devs, you may of read this, but will we get a ETA on the improvements? I mean, we've only been waiting for 3 months!

Excellent points.


Just remember, not all DE's are interested in combat droids.


I am perfectly happy leaving combat to the animal tamers, as long as the droids we have are given more functionality in other game areas. Harvesting, crafting, medicine, entertainment, languages, surveying, maintenance, etc.

I doubt it'll take a week to get an solid impression of how we feel about it. Adding my two cents to the growing pot, I think Sintrosi's "State of the Profession" is right on the money, and accurately describes the State of the Profession.

Um, our process of Droid Engineering has been snafu-ed since launch, I sincerely hope your process of engineering a solution is in better shape, or we're all in a lot trouble.

Wow, I am not a DE (am Master Smuggler on Ahazi) and I soooo /agree with Sintrosi . Your the type of Correspondent every broken profession needs! Articulate, Polite, arguements are well though out, my god man, if I were a woman I'd be in love with you ;p .


Seriously, I started a thread awhile back to have the DE profession looked at and still nothing. I sure hope once the CH's have had thier diapers changed, the love will be shown to you all.

I worked hard to get Novice DE only to realize that it was not a viable profession. So I earned another 30K+ general crafting xp and went the armorsmith route. I don't want to make armor, I want to make droids. It is a game, I should be able to do whatever I want!


Listen to Sintrosi. Can you hear us? Help!

great job... in all honesty.. I dropped DE just 2 weeks ago.. I wasn't near master, but haven't had the time to actually maintain stuff from my vfx demo reel, so I am hoping A after space expansion we get another character slot that isn't our FS character, and B DE's will have the glory of being a useful class in everyones eyes.... well most people... I mean for crying out loud, the federation tried to rule a planet with droids, and all we get is a stupid over sized scout droid with a blast that does 50 damage... And besides yes anyone can use the droids, but the fact is... they need to be recharged after like 2 fights... otherwise useless... But I have to say great article I am with you guys 100% even though I remade my character, but the instant I see the smallest amount of love.. I will be climbing that tree again!
