I'm so glad you have someone on the inside to give you such a change in spirit. Most of us don't. So dont come here with your "Holier than Thou" attitude. You were one of the "Major" **edit** disturbers in the first place. People need to see "ACTION" from the red names and not just talk. Your words hold even less weight than theirs. You sound like a converted smoker.

I don't have some secret person that I talk to or anything. I just send a PM to some Devs. They answered. That's all. You could just as easily have done the SAME thing.

You can PM Devs on the forum and, if they are so inclined, they will respond. That's all that happened here.

Correct...and, I could be again, if so inclined. Right now, I find the negativity disheartening and it honestly makes me not want to hang much in the forums. I'd prefer to start talking about, and fleshing out, cool droid ideas and changes.

And...just by way of example....did any of my 'disturbances' in the past actually bear any fruit (other than perhaps the DH poll, but that was hardly a rant of any kind)?

Uhhhh....."converted smoker"? I have no idea what you're talking about, man.

I am not in any way concerned about what kind of weight my words carry. In my view, every single DE that posts here has an opinion or viewpoint that carries equal weight....even you.

If you think me daft, that's okay. I'd probably see it the same way were the shoe on the other foot. I just know that the negativity on the DE board makes me want to play less....not more. I'm just hoping to see that change, that's all.

DE's there is none more happy for you than I. I really only stumbled acrossed these boards when i heard about the DH profession. Something I was genuinely interested in (moot point and off topic). Unfortunately my mistake was mentioning I am a CH. This led to a systematic, methodical and unrelenting series of attacks. I hope every including myself can get past this because I believe there are some good minds here, minds that could be put to better use than flaming the likes of me.

Heya..thanks for the comments.

I think most DEs like anyone that has their hearts in the right place....that is what seems to count the most. I think CHs got a pretty horrid rap but that's kind of water under the bridge now (after several rounds of heavy nerfage).

The reason why many old timer DE's have a general detestment towards CH's is because of the Probot nerf. Probots were a hot item shortly after release. Many DE's profited from them. What does this have to do with CH's? After the nerf, an alternative to the Pre-nerf Probot was discoverd. This being the Cowardly Gurrek.

The gurrek rivaled the pre nerf probot in many aspects and much better stats than the current probot. What angered many DE's was that it took months for the devs to change things. Hope this helps you understand things.

Ahh I am definately against the one-star treatment, but I too jumped in with everyone on that one.

You don't just stay silent through all this and then chime in and offer your two cents as a direct attack against one of the community leaders.I don't see TK as trying to be a "converted" anything. I see him as being mature enough to say "I lay down my arms, now you lay down yours". And that earns my respect. A man tries to put the fire out before it gets too hot. A boy giggles and adds fuel to the blaze.

one stars have never bothered me, so one star youself to heaven. Hope you enjoy it. I was smart enough to set my defalts at the beginning. And I couldn't really care less what your opinion of me is.

I guess "Reformed smoker" would have been the better choice of words. Although I don't smoke , Ive seen the "Pack-a-Day" smoker "Kick" the habit and then start preaching on how everyone else should quit.

For me it's rather moot anyway, as I'm terminating my accounts.

I just sent a message to JustG, asking what sort of boundaries we can expect in our requests for DE changes, and what to expect. It looks like TH is putting together a post. This is the reply I got from JustG, which is super cool. I did not expect to get a reply within like 5 minutes, but I did. See??? There is reason to stay positive.
