i have been MDE for nearly a month now and the person besides sin that has been most active is drashk so you got my vote to!

Hope you can fix that list of your asap. Getting tierd of MSE's whit everything in them..

I think that we have many qualified people here. My vote goes for Drashka because I know him from Test Center, and respect the many tests he has performed. I also feel very stongly that the next correspondent needs to have a Master Droid engineer on the Test Center. With the upcoming changes our next correspondent needs to be able to test the upcoming changes first hand.

I too have a Master DE on TC. I did this to be able to test the combat droid changes and help make combat droids a viable addition to SWG.

I will be happy to assist whoever becomes the next correspondent test changes and existing problems and fixes on Test Center before they go live.

Although I dont know if my vote should really count since I just recently retired from the DE profession until further notice. ( Just couldnt take the frustration anymore)

Ok folks. I've let TH know that my personal life right now isn't going to let me do justice to the position of correspondant and have dropped out of the running. As such, I've put my support behind Drashk and ask that all you folks who have voted for me do the same.

That being said, I will still assist the correspondant by keeping the issues thread going and hope that whoever gets the position will be willing to form an unholy alliance in order to insure that the issues are properly addressed.

I officialy Retract my vote for Woody as he has proven that he is incapable of representing the majority of DEs' oppinions. He represents his own and those of his tight nit circle of friends.

And no, im not on these forums to make friends. Im here to see DE's becaome a Star Wars like profession.

And what led you to this opinion? His restating of Drashk's goals, showing that the two of them think along the same lines? It would seem to me that just such a statement by him would be exactly what we are looking for, two Correspondent-hopefuls with the same, or nearly the same, goals in mind for DE's!

As for his "representing his own and those of his tight nit (sic - should be KNIT) circle of friends? Au contraire, he has never pressed his opinion over anyone else's, in fact listens openly to all opinions and shows no preferences.

WOODY has my vote, for the fact that he took me under his wing right after I made Novice DE, invited me to a DEA meeting on Verni Island that same weekend, and showed himself to be an inexhaustible champion of the DE's. He is trying to get DEA itself expanded to other galaxies and to work with any other existing DE associations on all galaxies. His circle of friends is very large, and if tight-knit is only because they are all working for the same cause: making the idea that "Droids ARE Star Wars and Star Wars IS Droids" a viable reality.

Id like to start out by saying that Sintrosi did an amazing job and will be missed. Many members of the development team urged me to encourage Sintrosi to stay and I did, but his RL concerns rightfully take precendence. It must be said and hailed that Sintrosi did an amazing job.

Things change and we must go on. Sintrosi always has a place in this community, but the Droid Engineer's are coming to the forefront of development and its critical we get a correspondent into place. I have no doubt that this community will continue to work together like a well oiled machine, but I need a point of contact ASAP.
