I'm going to rerun a smaller version of the test when TC-Prime comes back, however I am going to wait until after the crafting hotfix is added. The reason behind waiting until after the hotfix is simple...

Any data prior to the fix would be ruled invalid. Heck, even the data that I have now could be invalid currently, especially since Ihaven't run complete tests since Publish 18. I have been running a few experiments, using BE DNA, with Private and Droid Crafting stations, which have produced similar results, but are not though enough to post and do not fall under the same conditions of the previous test.

I'll post my findings when the test is completed, and the conditions in which they were performed.

My droid station is just as good as my +40 station (i can believe that cause of the way you explained about droids and public stations being regarded. Would be very much like the devs to change something and forget to change it for something similar)

Both my tool and my station (whatever it is) needs as high a number as possible and that number WILL have an affect on my Experimentation success roll

I didnt get enough popcorn by far (that one was deducted by reading between the lines)

Thanks, posting that data would be most appreciated. After my own experiments with harvest data, I know what a pain it can be and I'm amazed that you find it interesting to test these sorts of things all the time but we're grateful that you do!

Uhm, TH is no "developer"... he's from the Public Relation department...

Unless you can quote real Devs like RThornton or Blixtev i would trust a test by the Correspontents more...

And I would trust Drashk's tests more than "common sense." I've only been playing SWG for a few months, but it's pretty clear to me that things do not always follow the common sense path

As far as I can ascertain from the discussion, general conclusions are that using a high quality crafting tool in conjunction with a droid crafting station is virtually the same as using a high quality crafting tool with a high quality crafting station.

This is certainly true in my experience
