Simple Holo, if you must nerf probebots dont do it until the certs are in place. I would prefer you fix the bugs instead of nerfs. I know you posted that you have different people working on different things but I think a vast majority would be happy if you had everyone you could working on bug fixes instead of nerfs. I get very tired of the now connecting to galaxy screen, what about the admin issue with houses and factories, what about the bugs with not being able to store stuff in droids with storage modules. What about all these other issues that we only get a responce of "we are working on it". Stop nerfing and stop fixing. Anyone else agree?

Yeah, that's true. The millionaire thing. But hey, more power to 'em!

I'm worried about how I'm going to get my Bounty Missions done now that probots are no longer useful in any way.

Hmm if they are exploitable isnt it better to fix the exploit than nerf the droid? (wont this exploit just turn up again with something else in the future?)

It turns up with all pets, but it's exacerbated with the prbot because anyone can use the probot, whereas the pet case is limited mostly to CHs.

I am not sure how else to band-aid the problem while we put in certs...?

Holo if you are gonna nerf them down by 70% I would hold off on making them and taking away all their bonuses before you make them deathblowable. Probots should not be as powerful as they are but they should still be useable. I know that I paid 70k for the probot I currently own and if you go through with the nerfs you are going to do I wouldn't have paid 5k forit.

Also if you lower them and take out their armor and such will you be able to tell who owned what type of droid and be able to put it back where it was or at the same level on the scale once you put in droid certificates? I mean will my current lvl 4 probot be put back to it lvl 4 status in the new system?

Probots would be fine if you simply removed the ability to have them be insta-healed when recalled. Actually, you'd actually enhance the DE profession. Forcing droid damage to be repaired would open a market for droid tools and repair droids...

Stop complaining about Probots please! Probots have the power they do because they require a lot of resources, not to mention the weeks of advancing in the droid engineer ladder. Almost every profession has a powerfull money-giving skill...so don't complain about probots!

Millionares? I got 1.5k....

Alright Holocron if your going to nerf us, lets reconsider the entire class and the effort needed to get to this 'new and nerfed' probot.

48k for the first level of anything is insane, especially considering how the only thing that made us good and worked right (admittiedly worked too well) is now being nerfed hard. I dont have a problem with the nerf itself in the name of game balance, but the class needs a shot in the arm if you expect anyone to remain in the profession.

Why not just have the probots inherit their owner's stats when they are summoned?

Not directly, but you know what I mean. Asa Bounty Hunter with BH Carbine II I would get a much more powerful bot than a newbie would.

The biggest concern, though, is very expensive items being so easily destroyed. These probots are almost guaranteed to die every fight.

Another possible bandaid fix to keep probots failry powerful, while eliminating the most expoits to kill powerful monsters would be to make it impossible to call a droid, any droid, within 5 or 10 min of a battle/combat flag being placed rather than the 90 second store prohibition.

Additionally, limit characters to one combat-capable droid in their datapad at one time. Eliminate the instaheal, and thinkyou'll find they aremuch less exploitable by a single player.

My view is the droid needs to be more powerful than a single player to be effective, especially in armor. Eliminating exploits via timers and limits seems just as easy as altering a droid's stats, yes?

Raph you got a good game here. But Im paying you guys to come up with the game. Dont look at me to fix your problems. All I want to do is come on and play and not have to deal with stuff like this. This is such a huge change I question how things like this made it out of your beta.

How does this help? You can only have one droid out at a time. It's not like the CH pets that were being cycled in and out.

Instead of just Nerfing Probe Droids, why don't you also make the other Droid types more useful also.

I would love to see messenger Droids delivering Items to people. There is no reason why they couldn't "seek" way points to deliver a piece of equipment or item.

How about repair droids who repaired Mining sites, Houses and Harvesters?

House droids which could store food and drink, and maintain or lessen the maintence on the house?

Personally, I'd just like a droid with a genera/droid/weapon station.

What are Droid Batteries good for?, Why not use them like power for a harvester?

I mistakenly learned all of the languages in the game, because a friend offered. I would LOVE to unlearn it. and have the flavor and roleplaying of Translator Droids and Protocol units.

Lower the power of Probe Droids, not as much as your wanting too, but leave the armor. and let it be "damagaed" so it can be repaired or even destroyed. Let it soak damage.

Droids are the coolest part of the Star Wars Universe. I am looking forward to owning one or two, but I would like them to be USEFUL. I'm not a CH, I'm not a BH. I'm a Wookie Scout/Weaponsmith who's goal is to build bowcasters. I want to enjoy the game all of it. and that includes Droids.

Just imagine Pit Droids when Ships and Vehicles come out. Don't worry about what is Nerfed NOW, Plan for the future.
