i hope theres not gonna be a easier way to get jedi (like a crappy quest or a trainer), can you imagine all the jedi running about? there will be skilless noobs that just started the game 10 mins ago and all of a sudden there jedi

All Holocrons are silent since publish 9.

I went Silent on my main character ages ago, but on my alt character on another server I accedentally double clicked on one when i was placing it. (Yeah I know what a klutz) And It was silent.

My alt character has never done a single holo profession.

The exception to that rule is on silent holocrons...

if the holocron is silent, it will not disappear when used.

I have been away alot in the past months i keep hearing people mention having holocrons. whats the deal with them? they were for giving professions to try or is there something new they do and a way to get them?

Holocrons used to give you hints as to how to unlock your Jedi character slot by telling you 4 of the 8 professions you needed to unlock.

The system has been revamped and you no longer master professions to unlock.

Holocrons are now used by Jedi to instantly fill up their force pool and by people to decorate their homes.

thanx for the reply are they still dropping or is their a quest to get them? i know what they used to do but thought they became worthless, good to know they are worth something.

They are indeed still dropping off of the same mobs that they always have.

There is also a quest in the jedi caves to get one (sith if you're imp, jedi if you're reb) but these are undroppable/tradeable.

I heard somewhere that holocrons may be used by Jedi to restore complete health at any point (one use only, I assume).

Can anyone confirm or deny this?
