Gorantoth, if you would, please add the fact that the Droidsmith's Toolset limited use schematic cannot be crafted with items currently attainable in-game. It's not technically a Droid Engineer issue (as they are not DE-craftable), but it effects DE's directly.

Agreed and updated.

Actually...I'm not so sure on this one.

Both myself and another DE bought one of these on Tues. Mine worked fine.

The needed Repair kit IS in the game (and must work or I wouldn't have been able to buy and use the Toolkit).

I think what's throwing people a bit here is:

- the Repair kit needed is now a 'rare', so to speak. Only those lucky enough to have held on to some will benefit by being able to add it to this schematic.

- there are some thinking that our new Repair Kits (A-D) are, in fact, the same Repair kit called for the in schematic, which isn't the case.

I beleive the issue is that the items are rare because they were once craftable but were removed. The item itself does not exist as a loot drop or a craftable item and is not just rare, but impossible to obtain by means other than finding someone who happened to be around since the beginning of the game and still has one of the 'broken' tools. As far as I'm concerned, this is a bug since the purpose of the droid repair kits are the same as the intended purpose of the original Droid Repair Tool. Providing a schematic without providing a viable'source' forall the parts is just wrong and should not happen. It's a sink without a tap.

I've updated the bug to reflect this.

I have a possible solution for calling two droids out at once.

If I'm not overly mistaken, the combat droids should be a CL of 10, and non-combat droids should have a CL of less than 10, correct?

If that is the case, then allow players to call up to 19 CL's of droids at once.

That way, you can have multiple droids of CL 9 or lower out at one time, but still only one combat droid.

Of course, this idea doesn't really work if we get combat droids of a CL higher than 10, and as it stands, some droids don't reflect their proper CL, (a non-combat LE droid with a CL of 13?) so that issue would have to be fixed, but it's one possible solution that makes sense to me.

Okay, here is my initial post, from another thread, which I hope explains things a bit better. ( I would have just changed my previous post, but I can't find the option to edit a post anywhere - please help me on this, so I don't have to do this again)

I'm not sure if this is still considered an issue (it's really hard to keep up with all the posts on these forums) but in regards to calling multiple droids at once, I have a (partial) solution, I think.

Let people call up to 19 levels of droids.

Why? Most "combat" droids are going to be CL 10 or higher, right? So, if you up the total level to 19 (or some number less than 20, I'm not really sure what the level of a pure utility droid is) you can potentially have ONE combat droid out, and ONE non-combat droid out at once. OR, you could have TWO non-combat droids out. This can solve that whole "I can't repair my own droids with my repair droid" issue (now, I know that the droid repair kits are out, but there has to be some other potential use for this ability, like maybe when Publish 8 comes out). That is one solution I could see to the whole "I want to call more than one droid at once" request.

Just a thought.....

As a droid owner who has bought MANY droids, you need to add this to your list...

Multiple NON-combat droids out for any one... not just DEs. I'm sick of not being able to repair my own droid, even if I have a repair droid. If I have a crafting R2 and a power droid, why can't I call both?

Frankly, I don't care if you DEs get to have more than one combat droid out... I don't do combat. I have a probot I use for protection and if it gets damaged, I can't repair it myself... and guess what! Hardly anyone owns a repair capable droid since THEY CAN'T USE THEM TO REPAIR THEIR OWN DROIDS!

Well to start, I am not a Droid Engineer just a concerned consumer. I purchased and R3 Droid with both Generic and Food crafting modules as well as medical 110 and storage 10. The Food works fine but not the Generic Station ....is this a know issue and if so is there a work around. Also what could be done to get that module to work if anything.

How old is your droid? This is an old bug that has since been fixed for new droids. There's still a related bug for when you're near another "crafting station", but this would have affected all your crafting modules.

4.Wishlist
E. Droids to remember if they were stored or called over a logout.Running around in the middle of nowhere and logging out causes your droid to hide back in the datapad. This means having to go back to town or putting down a camp in order to recall your droid. This is undesireable.

It is possible to call droids out in the wild now.

Hi guys!I have a problem that has worried me a lot! I am a new DE 0-0-0-2 and just today I managed to grind my way to 0-0-0-3.happy me,I tried to create my first probot when I saw that it neededa previously unknown to me partcallled "advanced motive system"I tried to locate it on my crafting list but it wasnt there, after hours trying to see what skillI need toget in order to get the schematic,I found the "advaced motive system" on Advance Droid Blueprints!Supposedly I already had it!But had never seen the schematic on my list!I cheked my Draft Schematics screen on Datapadand, there it was but I couldn't see it on the craft screen!Of course I am using the Droid,Weapon and generic Item tool anda public Droid crafting station, but the schem still doesn't show up so I can craft it!I noticed it has a complexity if28 whenthe previous highest is 25,can you give me some help?Do I forget something?

Thx a lot for you help!

I also get the message on 2 new droids i bought yesterday....its the first time i have called them but the system tell me that their paint has faded completly
