That message is normal, if the crafter does not start counting, them something was wrong. What could be wrong:
1. the resources were not all in or complete
2. your near a crafting station and its throwing off the questions/answers. There might also be an indication because the wrong schematic comes up.

Try adding a couple more seconds pause between your final create prototype and starting your next crafting station Psycho, that should fix it.

This is one of the most dramatic time savers I have picked up off the boards. Thanks for reminding me of the obvious. I alreadyhad the software installed and was using one button for burst run. Sometimes the answer is right under your nose. Thanks again.

Xenothaulus,
I can appreciate your decision... because it is one opinion that I share... I also wanted to enjoy "learning the profession"
You might do what I did on Sunrunner (and am currently doing on Bloodfin)... but it takes a LOT of setup time.
Buy/build/place a number of harvesters that you'll use to build your materials base.
Buy/build/place someenergy generators.
Then run nothing but crafting missions for three weeks to feed the harvesters/generators while you build up the resource base. After that, you'll have all the resources that you need to "leisurely" work your way into MDE.

- Tereblo Kohew (Bloodfin:Naboo) -

Then you should re-read the very first post, and this time maybe all of it?

I too am suffering from the mysterious, the crafting session has ended problem. I have re-read this post about 5 times and even though the specific spelling on commands vary a bit, I am positive I am doing nothing wrong.
My problem is with the /next crafting stage command
I use /nextC;
nothing happens after the macro has gone through 3 of the commands.
I typed in each command manually to see what the problem was
I have my crafting tool in slot 2 and macro in slot one
so my macro starts off:
/ui action toolbarSlot01; (enter that in your chat tab and it works as it should)
next is
/selectDraftSchematic XX ;(once again works like a charm)
After selecting the appropriate resources, I then punched in
/nextC;
/nextC; (I have typed this in the various forms of /nextcraftingStage /nextCraftingstage /Nextcraftingstage /nextCraftingStage etc).
I am still at the page where you select your resources (is this normal?) and if I click on the assemble button in the lower right I get the error message "The schematic is not ready for assembly. The slot ingredient requirements have not been fulfilled. make sure each of the required slots havebeenconfigured correctly, then try again." (yes the slots are still full)
hmph.
If anyone has run into this problem, I would love to hear how you got around it

From Section 2:
"At Expert Droid Blueprints, you will want to switch over to Advanced Droid Frame Units"
Iwas almost all the way to Expert Droid Blueprints.....and I realized I already have Advanced Droid Frame Units from Advanced Droid Blueprints. Might want to make that correction in the guide. Advanced Droid Frame Units is in Advanced Droid Blueprints (not Expert).
