Thread: How to grind your way to Master Droid Engineer
meh...I expected a few mistakes in my post, but if you cant clue in on the mistakes and resolve them then you probably wontunderstand half of what I mentioned.
beautiful post. wish i had this in August when I first started DE, lol
Well the holo loves to torture us
oh yeah. and when counting schematics...most people tend to count by ones... *pointing to schematics and moving as counting hopeing to god i don't lose my place...*
but always remember you can resize the boxes so that a certain number or schematics show up on a row......
my method:
- count by ten's until i get to the row that has the schematic i want
- count by ones until i get the single number count from the front of the row to the schematic
- add both the ten's and the one's result
- subtract 1 to compensate for starting at 00
- and voila....less headache from trying no to lose your place.
THx for this awesome post. I read it yesterday. I gathered the necesarry resources yesterday (bought them)
I made 10 craft macros with 10 craft tools and started working on it.
I made it to master in 8 hours!!!!!
Very nice macro's. I adjusted it a bit.
Costed me a lot of steel (490K)and fiber (200K)and 15K extrusive ore.
next holo Master swordmans
(switching to that forum)
I've done alot of medic grinding to reach master doc, then later master CM. Using a macro, I managed to use 4 tools instead of 3 while using a 5 second pause.
A few tips, someone mentioned using /nextCraftingStage; 3 times instead of 2 to deal with the experimentation phase. If you're not next to a crafting station, don't use it. I have found that it will sometimes end your next crafting session, or just give you some really strange results. There was/is a bug that when 1 tool finished crafting, it would also end whatever session you're in at the time. This was happening to me until I took out that 3rd line, while loading resources into one tool, another would finish and cancels that crafting session. If that happens to you, try using the very first macro listed in here and don't stand next to a crafting station. Or, if you're already doing that, add the 3rd line and then stand next to a crafting station.
My suggestion to those that use resources but get 0 xp. Is the tool counting down after the interface disappears? Did it close while the resource slots said "loading..."? If it's the first, then you probably just had a critical failure, if the 2nd, add a second or 2 to the pause to give yourself more time for it to load.
Also, if it's not working right, try to just run 1 tool once. Once you get 1 tool working good, then string in a few more.
You can also use the /select command from the command line. What you do is to open up a crafting tool, then type /selectXX where XX is the number of the schemetic. You can hit the back button and try another number until you find the proper schemetic.
Ridiculous!!! It doesn't take 8 hours to get one box...I did in a casual two. People who read these threads. Don't listen to everything somebody says--It's not ALWAYS true.
OH well, peace out,

Help Please.
I am having a problem to get my macro to work. I get the following error.
No such command, mood, chat type: selectDraftSchematic
Now here is the macro I am using. This is one just to test it out, and i have another for a couple of crafting tools. This one is just for one for a test.
/ui action toolbarSlot16;
/selectDraftSchematic 066;
/pause 7;
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/createprototype;
/createprototype;
Now that is my macro. Also not sure if that schematic is right? Also counted my datapad and 66 was for the coupler. thank you for any advise.
/CreatePrototype. It works now so I am all good. I just plan on figuring out how to loop it. So if I have any more posts in this forum it will be on correcting my looping macro for crafting.
