Heh, you don't like our repair kits made with "death star debris"? They're always going to recycle art.

Always.

More great info, thanks Jenden! (edit: d'ohh! thanked the wrong person! Sorry Jenden )

I left out gemstone because we already use it (for Micro Sensor Suites, IIRC)... the petrochem fuels are completely new to Droid Engineer. I was just trying to figure out what totally new resources we're going to need.

So far I think things look pretty good, considering that this is first-day info from a 2-box DE. I eagerly await more information from Drashk... but give him some time, peeps. Unlike the rest of us, he probably has a life.

The DZ70 example is the one that concerns me most. There's almost no effective difference between a pair of (mildly) experimented combat modules and a single crit failure combat module? Or did I read that wrong? Please tell me I read that wrong... otherwise these new combat modules do virtually nothing.

I may be demented, but I think the droid stims look pretty cool. I can't wait to hear what the higher level stims are capable of doing... though one thing to remember is that it'd be kinda pointless for them to have more than about 2000 energy. That would heal almost 700 HAM and the Probot only has 820. So 300-ish for a stim-A doesn't seem that bad to me.

I do think we're going to have to be firm on price for stims, though, or they'll end up being a commodity like Bounty Hunter droids. I sell all normal droids for at least 10 CPU, but can only get 4-6 CPU for Bounty Hunter droids. I'd like to be able to get 10 CPU for droid stims, too, just to make them worth all the trouble it looks like it's going to take to make them.

To be honest, I'm still hopeful that we'll see some sort of mild improvement over the old Probot whenusing the best resources and full experimentation. It wouldn't take much, really. 850 HAM? Or maybe 80-90 damage? I would actually like to see the new Probots be more desireable than the old ones, just not in a huge way. (Well, a huge way would be nice, I just don't expect to see that.) Something to make current Probot owners feel like upgrading, but maybe not need to upgrade. I'd like to be able to advertise "post-patch Probots" and have that be a good thing.

Any changes elsewhere yet? Like, say, to the Surgical Droid *cough*Item Storage*cough* or the LE Repair Droid *cough*repair*cough*? Have the R series schematics changed at all? How about the Power Droid - does it still need batteries? Has the Repair Module bug been fixed in it yet, either?

See, I've never seen death star debris before, so I thought it was new art. **edit**

3) the chasis schematics have NOT changed

4) the Standard Probot takes 1 combat capable cluster module

Didn't the LE Repair Droid used to take a Cluster Module? Has that changed, or are you saying that they've added 2 new combat sockets to the LE Repair Droid?

Oops... I'll bet I'm thinking of the Advanced LE Repair Droid...

the R3's I don't have, that's at Master blueprints ...all of the deeds I sent screenshots. These were just some of the more interesting differences. I'm currently running some memory modules in the factory, and we shoud have some testing results on the surgical droids, and the R2'sshortly.

Curious if the current probot is lvl 10, and what we are getting is a lvl 10, what exactly were you expecting to have changed?

Now it will take much more to get the exact same droid you had. The one nice thing is droid stims, but not sure how many people will be willing to start buying droid stims and vit packs and batteries when they already carry reg stims for healing themselves and there pet. Guess only time will tell.

I have a single CL10 creature pet. 3k,2k,1k HAM and 6% kinetic resists. If you ask me, for personal defense on harvester runs, that pet is a joke (although I know I could probably buy a better one somewhere... but bleah!).

My probots Primusand Secundusboth haveMedium armor and 40% resists. Sure the HAM is 820, but the moment droid stims come out is the moment I **delete** that lame creature and watch my probots take on those annoying spineflap maidens with ease.

Like I've said all along, droid stims will make our CL10 Probot much, much more viable as a combat pet for the masses.

The approximately 700 HAM I mentioned was a conversion from 2000 energy, meaning almost700 of each pool. It'll be really interesting to see what the other 4 stims are like - if they're basically multiples of 300 energy, we'll be doing pretty good. Although 1500 energy (500 HAM) does seem a bit on the low side if you're healing an 820 HAM Droid with it.

Another question regarding stims... does the energy convert to what's needed, or is it always an even 33/33/33 distribution? In other words, if you used a 300 energy stim a to heal a Probot that had 200 health damage and 100 action damage, but no mind damage, what would the result be? Fully healed or still down 100 health?

Thanks for the info on the LE vs Advanced LE. It's been so long since I made a non-Advanced Droid that I just can't remember their stats anymore. I don't even know what I would charge for one anymore because it's been that long since anyone has asked for one. Seems like everyone wants to order an advanced Droid even if they don't need it - for the longest time one of my most ordered droids was an Advanced R2 unit with a Med module, a F&C Crafting station, and a Level 6 Item Storage module. Which fits quite nicely in a normal R2 as well, but people always ordered the Advanced.

While we're on the topic of HAM...do the combat modules offer any increaseto the basechassis HAM or are we still going to be stuck with a 45 HAM LE combat joke?
