*** DEVS PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS ONE ***

Ok.. I bought this game for one reason.. Droids.. Asides from Vader, Luke etc what do you think about when you hear Star Wars? Ummm Droids.. What do I have as a Master DE? Nothing really as I can not make a "droid" that does anything really for anyone.. I can not have more then 1 droid out! Now hmm one would think that a DE wait wait Master DE could handle more then one droid...

I might as well just pack it in.. I have talked to so many DE's on my server and they are all ready to fold.. I dont really know if you DEVS are understanding what kind of situation you have out there.. Yousaythat you are talking to the correspondent about what is best for DEwhen your correspondents are truely all of us and this forum.. See you cant simply deny or skim thru all these posts and not get any idea of whats good and whats bad..

If CH gets a mount.. Does DE get a mech type droid? or how about a vehicle in the future <- not concerned too too much about the vehicle..

There are massive creatures in the middle of a city.. How realistic is that? They create unpresidented amounts of lag for everyone and really annoy mostly everyone who does not have one. Very happy that coronet has its own Zoo outside the star port..

Do I want a C3P0 with a blaster? NO!

Do I want R2 with a rocket launcher? NO!

Do I want a probot that is merely a scout droid? NO!

*** Binary Load lifters with increased ham and instead of lifters; Laser Cannons.. Sure!!! Thats not bad and hey think about it... If you were a rebel would you not try and modify things at hand for combat? I know I would..

LE repair droid with weapons.. Yes it looks like it could yeild a weapon but would need better ham and armor..

All and all we need a new chasis or two.. The logical droids to modify are really LE and BLL's.. The others would seriously make me cry..

Now too factions.. Do you want to see an Imperial DE making the same droids as a rebel? There are not enough distinguishing features between the two.. In fact there are none.. Rebels can use "Imperial Probe Droid" < yep thats from a movie.. they are indeed imperial.. Now wouldnt it just make you laugh if you produced droideka for both rebels and imperials alike?

BTW In other games and the movie their are robotic Dark Troopers.. There are mech type droids that require a person in them as well.. If I am imperial why cant I make either of those?

Now for this, look to planetside.. A shuttle that holds multiple players and you can hot drop.. That would be so amazing in this game.. Or the option in PVP to go manual AIM!! Do a raid on a base or player city.. Hack it or whatever and gain control.. (AN OBJECTIVE!!!)

I know what I am saying is going to get people loving my ideas.. I just hope they are heard..

OMG! Pffft!!! I crawled into the space hulk of a Trade federation destroyer, powered up a terminal with my power droid and used my R2 to slice it: Tada!!! I found the droideka draft schematic. Does that work for ya? How about this: I reverse engineered the droideka parts I found on lok -- and i've killed lots of these babies. Ok with ya now? Crap! All these purists out there would keep droidekas out of the hands of DEs while they sipJawa beers with grauls and rancors at the cantina. Jeeeez!!!

Please folks, if you don't want droidekas, don't make them -- you can be some old school DE like people who hate the world wide web (back in my day, we used the card catalogue system) -- but don't poopoo the efforts of the rest of to get a super cool droid. Heck, that's why I bought this game!

If you don't want to be a combat DE dont do it. This game can support many playstyles. But no droidekas means the minority's way only. Booo!!!

You still dont really seem to get it do you Thunderheart? Yes we understand things have got to be worked out a step at a time. What everyone is upset about is that you are feeding us the same leftovers your colleagues have been giving us for 4 months now. On top of that you are making statements and promises that you are just not keeping. Fine you're working on it, and have been all day. It wouldnt be a problem if you had not said you were going to present it YESTERDAY. And then you go and do something else and say you'll do it first thing in the morning. Guess what, its the afternoon already and you're still 'working on it'. The only thing I really ask of you is to not pull our chain. Dont promise anything if you're not going to live up to it. Its easier to loose respect and credibility than it is to gain it back my friend. Keep that in mind.

I completely echo Lancers post. He is looking at things through clear eyes, which I'm impressed with. Most of the time, I think things through clearly, but even I have been caught up a bit in the madness at times.

We just need to make sure that we don't get so angry, and so hellbent on arguing for progress, that our arguing blinds us to the progress that is happeneing right underneath our noses. And on that same note, much of this progress was due to TH. Thanks again for all your hard work TH.

I understand things take time. You just started the job, and are doing your best. But you also have to understand 5 months of being ignored makes people cynical and impatient. And I myself am not prepared to wait another 5 months before seeing real active change to htis profession.

Apart from the naysayers, lots of great ideas here. Delivery droids -- I like protocols that ride the shuttle!, BLLs that do harvestor runs (100 item slots pls), Battle Droids, etc.

I like the idea of a module for every profession. Slicers would be into an R2 unit that gave modest bonuses on slicing terminals, etc. R2D2 did A LOT of slicing! He sliced the frigging deathstar! BE players would like a droid for them: perhaps modified surgical to store DNA sample. Chefs would dig an R2 with the serving tray -- like the one in the starport. Service droids or modules for all professions!

Boost the probot for newbies. Specialized certs for extra specialized droids by profession. Artisans get LE Repair, healers get surgical or probot with meds, BHs get waypoints from seekers that thet feed into probots or exploding MSEs, etc, etc, etc!!!

And neither can their weakness be dissmissed either: chiefly that a 45HAM MSE droid won't live to get to its target if the person has any common sense at all.

Hey retards...don't complain about the game. The dev's don't care, they don't listen, and there sure as hell arn't gonna do what the mass's want. There in this for there own ideas. You just play and they'll do what they want, if you don't like it go find another game. Can the next patch rename the game chore wars a empire at work? Please, I'll actually keep my subscrition next month.
