I just want to make it perfectly clear that I may be a DE a heart, but I am the Correspondent for the Test Center and all communities that it may effect.


J man is the authority on all DE specific changes and the person all Droid Engineer should turn to first, including me.


I just want to point that fact out, so that no toes are stepped on.

It's cool, Drashk. We know who 'da man is over here. I just found it entertaining (as did you) having two corrs relay the same info at the same time.

But seriously, it actually does make me feel better that we have you over there in the test center arena, simply because we know you test droids.

Drashk tests droids? I never would have guessed .


I'm glad it is being dropped to 2%, that is a much more reasonable number. I'm really glad.


I am glad they are listening. Honestly though, I don't think it was even really intended as a nerf or a balancing factor. I think they honestly sat back and said "what would crafters like." Then they came up with the answer of, "how about Assembly, Exp, and resource bonuses?" "Sounds good, how about 10%?"


They actually thought people would be happy, but I don't think anybody there ever really looked at the big picture. Thank you to everybody who helped them see the effects it would have.

The only cap that is in place is the 100% item quality cap. If you have 1000 OQ steel you're using for something, it will go up to 1020 for the purpose of calculations.

Hmm... seems you are right, I was not thinking of individual resources in a vaccuum, was comparing the increase of 2 resources with different caps starting at the same value (400/500 vs. 400/1000 at the same time, the first one gets a much bigger boost.) So its not as bad as I thought. Don't get me wrong its still a terrible idea, just not as bad as I allowed myself to believe it was.

So I wont be able to make 61 rated det modules then?

Jedi will never be a starting profession...Looted items and quest items will never be better then crafted items, this is not a loot based game...CH will return shortly...CH and BE will not be back in game...Rangers are getting their revamp next!...The stealth system will not be changing in the spy expertise...Need any more examples of things the devs said that did not hold true?

nope, will still cap at 60.
