Last night my best medic customer, a very friendly guy, told me that if battery charge length is not made longer and they don't recharge in the data pad he's done with droids.

I really don't remember, from any movie, seeing anyone put a batery into a droid. My power droid, of all things need recharged. this has to be fixed or it will be almost as bad as perma death. no one will buy them because of the power consumption.

I'm an avid droid user since I hate that SWG has become a pet paradise, but I have to say - this battery thing may be the last straw that drives me towards a creature tank. SOE should NOT have made this change without adding a bar to show how much battery life is left and the power cost, as stated above, is way too high.

I want to use droids I really do, but my -only- useful one (probot) just got a whole lot more annoying.

Power consumption is WAY to high right now. SOE either needs to fix it or allow a peron to call out a droid PLUS an EG-6 or both.

Another thing is it is soooo dumb that an EG-6 needs to be recharged.

A droid recharge interface that you could place in your house and crafted by an architect would be nice.

As a medic, I just found out about this after being puzzled yesterday and today

If you try to cure wounds in a place you would expect to be able to like a starport it just won't work, you don't get any low power message

I think most players haven't figured this out yet and that you will sell more batteriesonce people work it out

OK this is just another nerf to DEs. Who wants to have to carry 25 batteries around with them?

Took 2 missions today, called Probot in city, had it follow me to 1st mission 1km away. Told him to attack, got the *low power* message. Fine, used a battery recharged him and we did 1st mission. Had probot folow me to 2nd mission 800 meters from 1st. Told pet to attack, once again *low power*.

This is intolerable. At most it was 20 mins from the 1st time i recharged droid until it went low power again. People cant be lugging around 20 batteries for an afternoon of hunting. What the hell are the Devs thinking???

Making droidsrequire a recharge more frequently in no way is a boost to our profession, it just makes our products that much less desirable.

Please please please put this on the list of issues the Devs need to look at and rethink.

I suggest droid batteries be used to heal droid wounds or heal them instead.

This is no different then a creature pet. a living creature needs to eat in order to keep going, so why make droid pets require batteries if Creature pets doesn't need to eat? Instead, Just like creature pets, they are fed food to heal their wounds, and tricks to heal their mind. For droids, batteries should instead heal them or heal their wounds..etc.

it makes total sense to me.that or make creature pets constantly be fed or they die... i used to be a mch, and i wouldn't want this to happen to the CH.... and i think how DE are already in a bad shape, why make it worse by making theirdroidsstop functioning because lack of battery.

support this if you agree..lol..

I am new at this, but I thought I read some place that batteries already do heal the mind wounds of droids.

They do heal the black wounds, but not white damage.
