Hrm, seekers are only intermediate droid plans requirements. Hehe, just had my friend pick up droid engineering (master artisan, architect, weaponsmithing) with the few skill points he had left over. I now will have a new supplier (I already do the harvesting of resources for him so cost me nothing) so don't have to go through the advanced DE's anymore. Thanks Vyndice for making me check this out in depth.

I agree with fig everytime someone is turned down for a seeker "with an explaination" Im going to make a macro I get alot of seeker orders everyday, it will have an effect. Sometimes I get a surgical droid request but they are very few and far inbetween.

To the original poster...I can understand your frustration. Things are broke. Some professions are cripped because of broke things. Heck, my profession is very broke. Just need to have some patience.

As far as notification, we have been waiting for over 2 weeks for even a single answer on our problems. The only thing so far that we have gotten is a cut and paste of what was posted in the general discussion forum. Not exactly the answer we wanted, considering it only deals with 1 of the 5 issues we put up.

Trying to strangle us in the process of getting your things fixed isn't going to help out anyone. If DEs decide to strike, the only thing we will do is just ask for droid terms again. Alot of us BH's PUSHED to have us buy droids from a DE to HELP you all out. And now you just want to slap us in the face because you aren't happy. Well, I am disappointed in alot of things as well, but I will take things one patch at a time and hope that they eventually get things the way they are suppose to be.

Uh I actually went on theBH boards when they said they were making seekers DE exclusive to ask BHs to stop ranting on the DE boards about it, we got a ton of grief from BHs about seekers being exclusive please dont make a case to me that the whole time BHs were actually trying to make that change after the massive rants we recieved from BHs about it. I can go bump the post I had on there if you dont believe me.

If this is indeed true I feed off of the irony - I read the same posts that were flaming us DE for being 'greedy' and 'pushing' for exclusive rights to make these. I don't remember reading somewhere where we actually asked for this.

The droid terminals were only supposed to be temporay untill there were enough DE to supply demand, unfountly they left the terminals in to long AND left droid modules broken for to long (some are still broken). It caused the alot of prospective droid engs to quit right there....and I know serval who after the probot nerf dropped the profession.....and the perma death thing was a nail in the coffin for even more. You want to tell me who will want a 850 ham Probot that does 50 dmg and dies the first time out when they can buy a 3k ham 150 dmg never dies pet for less? Then they reomove personality chips from R units, weee fun now my droids are all bland because the surgical and repair droids are still easy to lose.

And dont tell me I can sell to crafters, you sell one droid to a crafter with a craftign station in it and he is sit for as long as he plays the game.

If yout hink your profession is ignored you are sadly mistaken, commando is an ingnored profession, DE is a ignored profession.

Yeah Im getting flamed pretty hard over on the BH board for this post, I shouldnt have singled BHs out, but since they are the only profession that really needs our profession, I decided seekers were the best one to choose. Considering a strike on crafting droids wont make a lick of difference since no one really cares to have one or ever truly needs one. Im still striking anyone is welcome to join, every person you turn down a droid to is another person that will graps how screwed up our profession is, just be prepared for 90% of your turn downs to be to BHs.

also if you explain to the person why your striking, lack of communication, lack of droid usefullness, profession being mainly broken ect ect...it really does help, Im going to set up a macro for it.

It's a good idea, you and the others should do it. If BH could strike to get people to listen to us we would. Besides my class is the target of mass hating anyway. =). So I don't really mind this. And as I said it's a very good way to showcase how inter-related our two professions are.

Do this please you all should.

Another note tho,

Please don't gripe to an ingame BH about broken professions. We can't advance in ours for many reasons so it's just as broken as yours =(.

Understand this too, that the reason we are so broken is b/c of the small percent of pvp leet dudes out there who are master pistoleer, and have pistol tree from bh (expert bh title in game) they run around with that title and pvp at all ops then piss people off.

do you want us to strike so seekers are put back on the vendors? or do you want us to strike because you really believe that more players will understand how screwed up the DE profession is?

Because if anything few DEs will strike and it will raise awareness, but I seriously doubt to the extent where the devs put seekers back on the vendors. If I could guarantee every DE will decide they were fed up of paying for a broken class and decide to strike then I would, but realistically a small amount of DEs will strike and the general awareness of our brokenprofession will be raised. Thats about all its going to accomplish.

I don't think that droids will ever go back to vendors. I doubt highly they ever will. I think you should strike b/c our two professions are joined at the hip. This is the only such relationship in the game that exists. My profession is just as broken as yours bud, and if there were any way we could get the devs to listen, even give us a response to our list that would be what we would do to I guarantee it.

Striking by your profession will showcase how gimped and unrobust the investigation tree really is. There will always be a DE who sells droids even at some crazy price that's the way economies work. So what will happen is a couple less scrupulous DEs will get cash some BHs (richones) will gain XP but the vast majority of us will not.

It's a very good way to point out a flaw in their player run economy model, and I think it could just work to both of our benefits in the long run
