Thread: Whats the Funniest thing you have heard from you customers?

Customer: Can you make me a spatula droid?
Me: You mean a binary load lifter? Yeah I can, but you know it has no purpose, right?
Customer: I don't care, it has spactulas!
I don't run into such things regularly, but this is about the funniest thing I've encountered in recent history..
Random player runs up to me, with 3 imperial stormtroopers trailing behind him.
Him: Can you make me a droid RIGHT NOW!?
Me: I suppose I can, which chassis are you interested in?
Him: *runs into my house and looks at my display of droids* I want a protocol droid.
Me: I'm not quite a Master DE yet. I can make you a protocol droid, but it will hold no modules and do nothing useful whatsoever.
Him:OK.. how much?
Me: *feeling guilty about even selling a droid with no modules* Umm. 6k.
Him: OK.. how long will it take?
Me: *guilt rising to sickening levels* Alllright.. you need to realize this droid will do NOTHING but follow you around.. It doesn't even really talk that much!
Him: Oh, and make it sarcastic!
Me: *sigh* give me 5 minutes
He left a happy customer, and I was too shocked for words. I must appreciate that, while bossy, this customer knew what he wanted... even if it was ridiculous!

Cust: Can you show me how to make my LE repair droid repair other droids?
Me: <pause> (was laughing and crying at the keyboard) Repair droids cant repair, you need anyother droid with a repair mod. Sorry repair droids have never worked. Broken in beta, broken at release, broken still 3months after release.
Guess the devs never thought anyone would would really be using droids after they tried to kill them all off, so they didnt think a repair droid was needed.
I like the idea about trying to sell one of the droideka's in theed think ill give that a try when i get home. Dont plan on keeping the cash but i wonder how easy i could sel it.

Me: Droideka transfer
Customer: Hey i got ripped i cant see the droid in datapad. Its broke.
Me: And how does this make it any different from the rest of the droids in game?
I have many stories, but this one is one of my favorites:
I was standing outside the cantina in Theed with my ADV Protocol Droid and the pet I had recently bought (a greater shaupaut that I had named "Probot") talking to a novice DE I had just trained. This woman wearing only her undies and a pair of bright red, high heel shoes runs up and just stands next to us. After about 3 minutes of her not saying anything:
Me: Is there something I can help you with?
Her: Can you make droids?
(The name Master Droid Engineer is prominently displayed above my head)
Me: That's what I do. What can I do for you?
Her: How much for a pet?
Me: A droid or a pet?
Her: A pet
Me: I don't make pets. I make droids. If you want a pet you need to talk to a creature handler.
Her: Oh. ok. How much for a protocol droid.
Me: (seeing the novice tailor title under her name)do you need a clothing crafting station in it?
Her: Yes please.
Me: I'll have to make an advanced protocol droid for that. 20K for the droid with the station and your choice of personalities. You do realize that the protocol droid is really just a novelty item at this point. It doesn't do anything special.
Her: How much for a pet?
Me: Again, I don't make pets. I make droids.
Her: Oh. Ok. Can you put the crafting station in a pet?
Me: I could, but it would be really messy
--------------Silence------------------ The other DE lols
I go back to talking to the other DE. After about 5 minutes she's still standing there.
Me: Is there something else I can do for you?
Her: How much for a protocol droid?
Me: Dear, we've been through this already. 20K for the droid with a crafting station.
------------Silence---------------------
She stands there for another 2 or three minutes and then runs off.
Definitely a classic in my book.
Come on Gveedo! Give us a screenshot! Or at least the location of your shop. I don't even play on that server and would make a character just so I can walk in and see the thing.
