Audio - in retrospect I think you may be right that the question was useless - but it did have potential to be very useful (sort of like if we asked what the meaning of life is - if you get an answer you have it made but chances are you'll get fobbed off).
TK - for the next question canI suggest a possible form for TH to fill in before posting :
Q1 Can the question be answered? - If No or Not Now then please request a new question from the correspondant and give a timescale for when original question can be considered (i.e. next round, 2 months, after SE, after publish X)
Q2 Has the answer been approved by the dev responsible for the profession, and key figures like Q-3PO and Just G? If No then please let at least one of them review it
Q3 Has the question actually been answered in the opinion of the Correspondent? If No then please reword the answer to remove ambiguities or errors or change your answer to Q1
Q4 Does the answer contradict any previous posts from a dev or TH? If yes please draw attention to this and confirm that the old post is now defunct
It may also be worth making the question highly specific - given the answer to the medic's and architect's questions a question could ask for a % increase in the chances of an 'amazing success' between a 0% droid module, a 25% module, a 50% module and a 99% module.
As an aside on the above and given TH's history with wording he states that the 'droid' has no effect, he does NOT mention the droid crafting station module so he could be referring to the fact that the experimental effectiveness of the final droid does not impact on the underlying module already installed which still has an impact?

Sad but true.
We really have no idea (or confidence really) that TH has actually got an answer from the coders at all. For all we know it's just his opinion (admittedly probably not)..but even so If a droid craft station makes no difference, then from my own makings over the time since launch, I can state that Architect stations are vastly over-rated. They simply dont make enough difference to matter.
As Kollos is fond of saying, if you cant see a difference over time, there cant be much difference..
or something very close ![]()

You are right. I have no idea why people moan over this possible difference between droid and architectcraft stations. The end product always turns out the same anyway. Using a +40 stationary station I may get more "amazing success" results, but who cares ???? An 1100 HAM probot is an 1100 HAM probot. It doesn't make a bit of difference if you did it with a droid or with a stationary craft station. The difference is really in perception whether it makes a difference or not.
The good thing is our droids are getting a major HAM boost next patch, which issomething people can see. People may hear that stationary craft stations are better than droids (whether true or not), we still have a great pet to sell to the non-CH profession. Plus our craft stations can still move with us.
