Whoo hoo! That would enhance DE sales. Battery-powered cybernetic implants.
They'd never sell anything but right arms. LOL

What about brain enhancements like the one seen in "the empire strikes back?"

Weren't those guys meant to have a reputation of going nuts after a while due to the implants? Don't know about you guys but I don't fancy that much.

Batteries, it all comes back to batteries, if they had kept them charged, they would still be sane.

if you played on ahazi and knew them you wouldn't say that hehehe.
Anyways back to the arms and stuff, the textures and stuff are already in there, I would assume it would be a simple matter to make them useable by us. After all Mallichae has an arm as does his irritating buddy.

Well, I continue to believe it would be a good idea.
It didn't take long for this idea to die3 an untimely death did it?

MMORPG.com:Another exciting new feature is that of cybernetic implants. Explain how the implants will work.
Dallas:You will be able to earn these implants by completing quests on Kashyyyk. Once you have them, you can get them installed by NPC Cybernetics doctors at the larger Medical Centers in the galaxy. The implants will have various combat-related uses: some will be better for Melee professions, others will be better for Ranged professions. Installing one will give you some statistical enhancements as well as a special combat move or two.

So we arn't making them

Thanks for the heads up... Definately bringing this one up where its seen.
I'm going to be making a big deal of this since its just one more step towards a non-player-centric crafting/merchant system...

Well that clinches it, like I said, after JTL, I wasn't holding my breath.
Letting DE's make them would have made to much sense.

I just posted the same article at the Doctor boards - is it just me or are all the important game systems (including the ones in the expansion) designed by completely different sets of developers that don't even know about each other?!
