Thread: How many DEs own a creature pet?
I'm a DE, and I have a swamp gurrcat.
Why? Well, why do most of my customers want astrodroids when they currently hold the same modules as an AdvMSE for 8x the price? Because they look friggin' cool, that's why. I have a gurrcat because it looks like a tiny, armored lion. I happen to think it looks cool.. End of story.
Oh, and the fact that it does 3 TIMES the damage of my probot doesn't hurt either.

I have a dappled gualama that my friend gave me. 2k ham, around 200 attack. But, my probot with Medium armor & 40% resists tanks WAY better than "Stomper" my dappled gualama. I rely on my probot to keep me from getting killed, while I sit back and shoot with my Carbine.
But, I'm a roleplayer, so I hate having my creature pet out. Only do so with my friends since we all have everything out we can pull out. Makes for fast kills 
I own a wrix, but only for the purpose of torturing and starving it.

Sadly, yes I do. Probots are horribly worthless and a waste or resources. I use a Bantha on my homeplanet on Tatooine. Looks neat, and does a decent job of tanking mobs for me.
Obviously when you see a DE walking around with a CH Pet and no probot, you would think the devs would get a hint thats somethings wrong.

Again, I think we are losing sight of the simple fact that we are not Droid Handlers. You seem to be against a cert system because it would keep us from being able to use our Droids. First of all, Weaponsmiths make weapons, but theyaren't automatically able to use them - they require a cert system. Should Weaponsmiths give up making weapons because they can't use them? Second, our class has a lot in common with Bio-Engineer. A Bio-Engineer can make creatures, but has no inherent ability to train them.
Never will I, Rashnu Botmaker.....Botmaker, have a creature pet. It's sacrilage. Plain and simple. You may flame me now but thats the way I see it.

NO way! never the whole CH thing makes me wanna /puke! man did they unbalance stuff here. Come on look at it now. Everyone has a pet. Mostly for that reason (and RP reasons) I will not have creature pet maybe a bunny to cuddle with but nothing else . I would rather make a droid with fur actually! This whole creature pet thing is like pop music, if everyone likes it, it it probably stinks!

I'm fairly close to master Droid Engineer and I own a few pets, simply because they can beat the snot out of my probot. I have a bantha, a rock beetle, a cu pa, and NULL (although this one is just for show, really, since his stats are horrible).
My friend managed to find a baby animal called 'null'. It was quite amusing so he gave it to me.
