In Publish 6, everyone gets combat droids by giving all the existing droids access to Combat Modules. These combat modules are like any other modules and will give droids combat abilities up to level 10. In Publish 7, some type of droid mastery will be added for the purpose of giving players the option to handle new combat droid models.

HAHAHA, Nope, sorry. Now TH says in the forums that combat modules will be in Publish 7. Guess he changed his mind. Man I'm glad I'm not a DE.

Drashk,

What on earth kind of keyboard are you using, that it doesn't have a PrtScr key? I've never heard of such a thing before...

Nice report Drashk, I only wish it was better news.

In regards to the Binary Load Lifters (both normal and advanced), it would just be great to allow situations where the cap for a storage of 10 could be exceeded. Say a storage of 20 for your normal load lifter and a 30 for an advanced model (using the correct module combinations of course).

Also, any news on the paint job we select for our droids sticking around? I'm getting sick of the "Customization has worn off" every time I call my droids.

And what about our experimentation level, it'd be nice to be able to reach 100 like other classes.

And what about....

*Sigh* Nevermind.

BLL Droid with 1 module?!?!? MUHAHAHAHA...that is sad & pathetic.

What they should do is let the Binary Load Lifter do some Load Lifting...

Allow you to move (up to a medium house in size) with your BLL droid, having the deed go into a storage slot on the BLL droid (un-tradeable, sellable, etc...) and being able to replace it within 1000m or something, without having to remove all the contents...

For large houses, PA Halls, City Buildings, etc...give the abilityto hire a DE (which has been rumored can have more than 1 droid called at a time with publish 7/8) be able to have "admin access" on the building and be able to move the building using 2-BLL droids...with 1 droid holding the building, and the other holding all the items in the building. Then replace the building within 1000m and the items back to their located spot in the building.

As an alternative and kewl effect...larger buildings could be moved with 1 BLL droid and 1 protocol droid. The BLL droid to do the lifting and the Protocol droid to arrange the furniture and items as they were when it was picked up. Possibly giving the Protocol droid some animation to make it look like IT is doing the arranging of furniture..(THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!)

That is what a BLL droid should be used for, as they do look like a STAR WARS version of a Fork Lift.

Meh.

Thanks for the update, Drashk! Excellent work.

As for the BLL issue, I would be happy if the BLL had no slots but came with 10 spaces of item storage built in, and the Advanced BLL could take a Cluster Module and had 10 spaces of item storage built in (thus having a maximum capacity of 20).

They have to be careful with giving extra spaces of item storage to any droid... while some of you may think that 50k for a BLL will prevent people from buying 5 of them, there's a very large number of players for whom dropping 250k on droids to get 100 spaces of storage would be nothing. That number goes up if you make it 150 spaces of storage (30 per droid), and I'm sure the Devs just don't want players to have that much storage available.
