Thanks for the head's up -- can you also please respond to the issue of the structure maintenance modules not stacking the way they did on TC before Patch 8 went live and the hotfix borked the mods?

We'd all appreciate knowing if this was an intentional change or is a bug that will be resolved.

[edit : this was in reply to a question about when reboots/updates happen]

On the main home page of SWG there is a network status link (on the left)

Alas, this is very POORLY updated. For the last 5 months servers have been rebooting at 4am, they just haven't bothered to indicate this. Sometimes they don't bother to even put in announced scheduled reboots.

It sucks alot for people that play around reboot for a game that can't be played unless the servers are up.

Nonetheless, thanks for putting up the latest announcements.

A customer has told me that he spoke directly with a CSR, and that the maintenance module "CAP" is not a bug, but intended. Any official word yet from our DE correspondant?

Wrong person to ask.

Most CSRs are clueless as to Dev intentions, and finding one that understands the intricacies of DE would be a miracle.

Am I going mad here? I thought level 3 maint modules were the max you could have. I have always been under the impression that the levels 1 & 2 would stack, but only up to the same spec as a level 3..... ?

Anybody else notice this? I too found that the droid i made during the dead time does not work but also when trying to craft a new L3 module that none of the crates of EMMs I have will go into the slot! Do I have to do a new run of EMMs also?

Exactly why i was combing this thread, i can make lvl 1's and 2's just no 3's cuz of the emm not showing up in crafting, either crated or otherwise. The crate is "an electronics" crate and not a wearables crate bug as in the past, plz help!!!

Mini Publish 8.1

1. Image Designer Enhancements
2. Improved Line of Sight calculations (no more shooting through walls etc.)
3. Jump to Lightspeed Beta announcement

OK, #1 is done... wonder what happened to 2 & 3?

Is the rest waiting til this issue got fixed?

OK, things changed after reboot

Both my droids which had a rating of 39 for the structure maintenance now have a rating of 15. Please see my other post in this thread for description of the stacking (or not of these modules in these droids)

I added 24 structures to the droid maintenance list and it maxed out.

So does this mean 24 is the max and is that for one module, 3 modules or 6 modules (originally built this droid with 2 clusters of 3 maintenance modules, but it only took rating of one cluster (originally 39))?

So all we need answering really is what are the rules regarding this module. Myself I look after lots of structures etc and was hoping to be able to fully stock an R3 to get many structures in one droid.

Okay...as of today...

The fix should be 'in' on the factory crating problem and the Structure modules.

I'm getting updated info on the Structure modules now and only need to get confirmation that I can release what I've found out.

(note: I'm pulling the sticky down but I'll update the Structure module Focus thread with the new info, and bump it, soon)

I have a droid made the first day pub 8 was out, before the hotfix broke the structure mainteance modules. It was made with a single level 3 (I believe) module with a rating of 13. I used it to pay maint that first day. After that, I was unable to 'assign droid' new structures and the radial for the droid, while showing the SMM options, would do nothing when I selected either 'pay maint' or 'edit maint list'. Now with the 8.1 publish I am able to 'assign droid', but I still get nothing when trying to use either of the options from the droid's radial. (And yes, the droid has power.)

Has anyone else successfully used a droid made the first day? Am I going to have to destory this one and have another replacement made for it to get my SMM functionality back because they botched the original droid in this fix?

Thanks,

C'mon man... you've been around long enough to know that the servers have a daily reboot at 4AM. It beats having the servers crash at prime time playing times.

It's been a daily reboot at 4AM since June 26th 2003, hasn't it?

Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."
