New Droid:

> First of all let me thank you for purchasing your droid. Your new droid will be in your inventory. Click on it and select "Tame" to deploy your droid for the first time.

Programming and (Re)Naming:

1. Click on your droid and select the program option. > >

2. Choose "Follow Me" in the menu. The droid will reply with a "?" to let you know it is waiting for the command. > >

3. The next thing you type in chat will be the command. Type: (droidname) follow

where (droidname)is what you want to name your droid. If you wanted to name it Fred you would type"fred follow" > >

4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the stay, follow target, patrol, get and clear comands. > >

Remember that commands and names are case sensitive. > >

5. Now click on your droid and choose the "Store" opton. This will put the unit in your datapad. To recall the droid open your pad , click on the droid and select the "call" option. > >

Please program "transfer" to something you would never type. Like "12345abcdefg". This will prevent you from losing your droid. This is VERY important. > >

Also if you are grouped with your droid in battle it CAN BE ATTACKED. > >

Probot tactics:

> 1. Keeping agros off of you. When you are going to attack a group that would swarm on 1st attack. Have your droid "follow other" to your target. Once it gets there give it the "attack" command. Everything will agro on the droid. Start attacking freely. Don't be grouped with your droid. > >

2. Intercept. When running through an area with "reds" on the radar and you think one will come for you target that creature/NPC. Type in the "attack" command a proceed. If the target attacks you press enter to issue the attack command. Your droid will intercept the agro while you move on. You can choose to flee or stay and assist the droid. Either way you are not getting attacked. > >

3. Spawn. Target the lair you wish to spawn creatures from. Give the droid the "follow other" command and then have it attack. You can either let all of the spawned creatures incap the droid or attack them.

Probot general:

> Probots are currently the ONLY combat droid. All of them have a HAM of about 815 and do 50 damage. These are not damage machines. The ones I sell have the max. armor available. That is medium armor with 40% resists. > >

What does that mean? It means it can take a LOT of damage. A probot with this armor can take 5493 points in damage to each HAM bar. Spread over a typical fight and you're talking 11k to 13k damage points before a probot will become incapacitated. For comparision a Rock Beetle can take 5866 and a Cowardly Gurreck can take 4266 to each HAM bar (less if it gets hit in one of its vulverable areas). > >

So what does this mean and how can you use it? It means that probots will take a lot of damage while keeping agros off of you. They are great for intercepting attacks and for attacking lairs to spawn babies (CH use). The are good for missions where the objective would otherwise swarm on you. I have a tactical guide with hints if interested.

Modules:

> Medical - Medical modules allow you to heal wounds as if you were in a medical center. You still must have the skill and wound packs. Listed in the datapad for droids with medical modules is the rating. A rating of 110 means the module is 110% as effective as being in a med center. That means you get a 10% boost on your heals. All of my medical modules are 110%. > >

Item - Item storage allows you to store items from your inventory in a droid. Handy for keeping crates of combat or crafting supplies. 10 Items is max for a droid. > >

Data - Only hold factory schematics. >

Repair - Allows you to repair or "heal" wounds on another droid. You can't heal your own droid however. Great for parties that use Probots to tank with. > >

Crafting stations - Private and portable crafting stations that function just like ones in your house.

I've decided to write yet another email. This will describe BH missions, how they work, who to talk to as a novice, what levels are need to use droids and which droids do what. Does anyone have a write of this already?
