I agree with above post. Blair's comment is scant, miniscule and meaningless. I expected something a bit more hearty. I'm more disappointed with their behavior after his post.

ETA? How about more than just a rotten carrot dangling?

Thanks, but more would be nice... even a "we screwed up, my bad"...

You mean since... yesterday? It's the weekend, give the guys a break, sheesh.

With this games record of "hotfix" breaks/bugs, they should either stop patching on Friday, or start working weekends.

As many of you have noticed, there is a problem crafting droids at the moment. I’d like to officially acknowledge the problem and let you know we are working to identify and correct the problem.

speaking as someone who does no crafting at all but who has followed the game's developement.....

you figure Blair is just talking about the recent borking or the overall non functionality of your profession? I would actually bet its the recent screw up, not actually fixing the profession.

We're talking about "Internal Server Error: No owner for player", right? Glad to see /bug is working!

As for many of the rest of you: no, the development team doesn't post much down here. Looking at a lot of the reactions in this thread, do you really wonder WHY? Come on, someone from development actually comes down here to acknowledge a big issue we have right now, that a fix (presumably hotfix) is in the works to fix it, and you greet them with "oh what a load of crap, DE is broken, fix our profession"?

Maybe a post by new Senior Producer JustG will help shed some light:

Everything is read, but we will never respond to flames or trolling. In addition to flames being non-constructive, we are quite human and the emotional responses on the boards can get rather painful.

These boards should be a place where we can discuss ways to make the game better. Everyone should be aware that you are going to get far far better results by making constructive suggestions.

If you want us to respond and engage in conversations, be professional here. If you need to vent, and believe me I understand the need to, you can get it directly to us under Support > Submit Feedback.

Given the history of the DE profession since Launch, "do you really wonder WHY" there are so many negative responses to this thread?

Yes, some of the responders are unnecessarily harsh in this thread, but as a Master DE myself I understand where they're coming from and share their anger. This isn't just about the internal server error... its about not being able to tame newly created deeds, nerfs, the loss of income due to CHs being able to sell pets that are better than our pre-nerf Probots ever were, etc.

Speaking only for myself, I have found my profession to be largely unplayable for the past 3 days. I have watched our Correspodent send professionally-written and courtious requests for Dev responses, only to be apparently ignored. I find myself weighing the question of whether I should continue waiting for my profession to become viable (how many MORE months will that be, consdering the DE Dev is also working on enriching the CHs further with Creature Mounts), or surrender several months of work and grind my way up to Master another profession.

I find some comfort that a Sony representative came to our forum and acknowledged a functionality-gating flaw in our profession. Given the post does not provide an ETA of a fix, however, I regard it as too little... too late.

Rate me 1 star like the others if you must, but this is my opinion and I'm entitled to it.

Good to see an official reply. But that doesn't change the fact that DE is still broken 2 months into the game.

Sorry, I would like to say a thank you, but I seriously can't ...
