I dunno, Ellewen... I thought that all along they've said that we'd be top priority after vehicles. I'm SURE I've read this.

The game was released 6 months to one year early. I don't think anyone can dispute that.

As a consequence of this, whatever systems were ....

Ok, This is a good picture. Perhaps what you just said should be posted in its own thread. It just cleared up a lot for me. Thanks Rho.

OK, I'll take your advice and post it under it's own topic:

Thanks, DE's, for your patience. I hope we can make it up to you.

I very much doubt you can or will. They will add good droids but put all these stupid caveats and conditions on their use that will make them useless I bet.

Sorry 4 months is TOTALLY unaceptable. And frankly a load of caacaa. Its 4 months because VEHICLES are next priorities and if they say 4 montsh we all know thats 6 min.

Sorry im not one to grovel that they say something is being worked on. Frankly get off you arses and do what you said MAIN PRIORITY cause right now DE sucks.

I for one and think many others are just plain sick of hearing we are gathering analizing bla bla bla. In any real business you would be job hunting.

FIX OUR PROFESSION and stop giving lame promises.

**edit** how long do we have to here and thanks for you patience. We dont have any patience left. FIX US NOW.

Whats next ow DE will be PART of vehicles (ow goody) we get to give a small part to someone else to make all the money isnt it grand.

We have also seen that ch only had an opportunity to make milions over a few days so therefore we will give them the ability to tame your vehicle and take it away from you so they can make millions more.

Come on guys seriously 4 months jeesh

Ellewen, it doesn't mean anything ... its just yet another developer posting about something he has no clue on. I bet the dev that builds droids hasn't even said a single word about his "plans" .. assuming he has any.

Don't mean to sound bitter, but between all the devs collective posts on DE none of them know a **edit** thing about them.

All though, he got out of the thread fast when asked for details...

I'm not all for them rushing a redesign out onto DE's. I want them to put thought and good testing in on the process. But, I also want to see them fix at least one thing that DE's have listed as broken forever. No plan is worth anything unless they prove they are putting developers onto the class now. Even if only for a token fix. Too many broken promises so far to be believed.

And, while I think that new combat droids might be cool, I think fixing the current ones to useability would be acceptable. DE doesn't need a redesign as much as it needs some fixing.

And another thing, I'm interested in the class being Droid Engineers not Droid Handlers. Don't make the pet wars thing even worse by having another class do it too. A Droid Engineer should be able to bring out a special non-combat droid in addition to the standard one. That way, a DE can repair his own droid rather than go find another DE to do it for him.

Thats what ive been trying to say. And just for the record, I don't think there even is a "Droid Engineer Dev".

I believe that "our" Dev is GreenMarine (also did mounts, armor, general crafting, some player city work, etc.).

Basically, all 32 professions are in the hands of like 8 Devs. That's the story (read: Can you say "burn out"?).

Enjoy!

So like i said, we don't have a dev. Ye 8 people sounds about right. 7 to order the pizza and one to type ascii faces where code should be.

I'm sorry but I don't buy it. How hard is it to fix the endlessly stackable modules within clusters. Its not. In fact its very easy, its a very simple issue. How hard is it to make Repair Droids actually repair something... its not. If they wanted to show good faith, they would do those ... skeptical upgrades... when they say they will, but to tide us over they could spend 3 days on bugs on our behalf that do NOT take that much time to fix. I don't want EVERYTHING fixed... I want SOMETHING fixed... its called a sign of good faith to prove they really do have the resources to do what they say.

By saying we're being looked into and should see these "great" things within the next 3 months... and yet not do a SINGLE thing to fix the very easy pitiful bugs we do have... like BLL's with missing module slots... its almost like treating us like we're idiots or something. The fact is they're doing absolutely nothing right now and don't plan on even looking into it for at least another month. 3 month periods is a classic period of time for empty promises. If they want my vote, spend 1 week on OBVIOUSLY SIMPLE bug fixes to at least show us we DO have some form of developer who is working on us for the big changes later.

We get a response andevery one complains

I trust the Devs are going to do something. This seems one of the best responces we've gotten so far.

Thanks Devs
