To add to Rho's comment, it cannot even be clearly decided if a better module rating actually does any better. Some DEs have tested (to death) their droid station versus an architect station. Most of them say their droid produces less crit fails. But it cannot be known for sure if that is actually the case, and unless they can remember the rating they wouldn't be able to tell if it does any better than another droid with a different rating.

As a master DE I use an non-experimented crafting modules and find they work as good as 40 effective crafting station

.

Protocol Droid - A very cool looking 3P0 type droid. However, he cannot hold any modules, so functionally wise, he is of no use.

Are you sure about this? I could have sworn I have a protocol droid with a crafting station.

Basic model protocol droids, achieved at Blueprints 4 can take no functional modules.

Advanced model protocol droids, a master item, can take two modules, and apparently on test center they can now take three.

Taking a well-deserved vacation from his successful Droid Engineering business, Master Rho can be found puttering around the galaxy.

Yes. Rho is correct.

I'll be going over the document with a fine tooth comb come patch day, but please let me know of any other mistakes before then - there is no edit button as on these boards as we are all too aware....

Ahh, that's probably it then. Didn't know whether he was advanced or not, can't get in game to check at the moment.

I can't wait until you guys get your acts together and add droid documentaion IN-GAME.

You shouldn't rely on customers for basic information - it should be part of the Holocron, accessable to everyone.

Kudos to Sketh for the work, but I'm tried of having to direct people to out-of-game content - when we desperately need it in-game.

It may be an ADV model... I know the ADV DZ70's I make all have 180 HAM... with a decent armor plating and a couple useful modules, these guys can actually be a good seller...

Checking your spelling (and punctuation, too) will ensure that you're making sense to more than two people.

You can't send your droid a direct tell, but the /tellpet command does work. I use this to train and command my droids, as I prefer not to spam the area with "follow", "stay", etc, while I'm training a droid.

Good point

I also plann on putting in some of the assignable macros that I use for my probot in combat - that way, you can have it named for the coolness faactor, but can use something like /tellpet attack instean of spamming 'a'.

Note that it is worthless to train the formation skills for a droid. It appears that they intended to allow for multiple droids at one point, but no longer do so. Hence, it is hard to make one droid fall into a droid formation

Well the commands are not exactly worthless. What it does is tell the droid (or pet) what position to follow in when you tell him to follow. Column will have the droid follow directly behind and wedge will have the droid off to the left and a little behind. I am not sure exactly how the rest of the wedge formation will fill in, but multiple droids can follow a single person by using the follow target command.

I have to admit I dont use these commands with my droids often, but I am constantly using them with my mount. When following in a group, I justuse the wedgecommand and instead of following directly behind the leader, Iget moved out to the left.
