I am not going to say I know anything about the CH class. Never played it. But I am going to agree here that having very necessary parts for us loaded into Master artisan is very frustrating and a huge waste in skill points. I am not sure if these parts are used elsewhere or not. Like by weaponsmiths etc.. I would love to see the parts moved to novice DE and be able to keep artisan at 4/0/3/0. Enough ladder distance to keep a vendor in my house, and be a DE that dont waste numerous skill points for something I really dont need.

To be fair, other crafting professions do need Master Artisan part (e.g. Architect needs 1 Energy Distributor and 1 Power Conditioner to make a Power Core Unit). However, DE relies on Master Artisan parts far more thanany other crafting profession, to the point where TH has even admitted it is a problem. He said they would either reduce our reliance on these partsor increase the reliance of other crafting professions.

Granted, you can create Schematics for these items, but then you have to be sure you ALWAYS have those specific ingredients to make the parts. What happens when that one ingredient needed goes on a 3-week shutdown on your server? Chances are (at least with my luck...lol), I will run out of that one material just at the pointthat particular resource goes on that 3-week vacation.
