Nice work Obo_alCan! So does anyone have formulas for working out the speed and chance to hit from either experimentation % or HAM? I did a little work and came up with some that pretty much work for Advanced R2 units (and I assume all advanced R units are the same). I'd love to see something similar for Probots and even LE droids. Here's what I have:


Advanced R Series attack speeds (E = Experimental Effectiveness %, S = Attack Speed):

S = 2 - E/2


And to go from a HAM to an attack speed (H = HAM):

S = 2 - {1 - [(4500 - H)/1125]}/2


And to get To Hit from experimental effectiveness (T = To Hit):

T = 0.33 + 0.1*E


And to get To Hit from HAM:

T = 0.33 + 0.1*{1 - [(4500 - H)/1125]}


These come pretty close for me.Of course I don't have a huge sample size(About 4 and one of them had a crit failure).Do they work for you? I do have one where the HAM to To Hit doesn't work, but it had a critical failure during experimentation so it could have invalidated it from the formula. It still worked for the attack speed on that one.


Can someone work up some numbers for Probots and LE droids? Or least post some data so we can figure it out?

Oops. Slight mistake in what I just posted. (Is there a way to edit posts?) Corrected below (the 0.1 in the To Hit should be 0.08 or 0.085 or something like that. Again, my sample size is very small. Oh, and one more thing, this works with all my data including the crit failure one.)
