Thread: Pub 22 Fix???

To answer your questions ..
The harvest droid was one of the buggy droid of Publish 21 so should work fine when they finally manage to incorporate the fix.
The renaming of droids have always been a problem with certain droid types. I know I've managed to name probots and r units but none beyond that personally.

1) Yeah, harvesting was broken in Pub21 (actually the functionality was before that, but that's a whole 'nother ball o' wax), and supposedly fixed in pub22. Well, it's still broken as of right now...
2) Here are the guidelines I'm aware of:
* Name can have up to 25 characters
* The SOE naming filter will be applied
* No numbers (spelled out numbers are ok)
* Name is case-sensitive
* No spaces
* Biped droids (LE, protocol) can't be named

Thanks so much for the reply! And I often dream of MargaritaVille. Hehehehe. Anyway, I knew once that Protocol Droids couldn't be named, but I forgot. Thanks for the reminder! (To many Margaritas in my oh-so-wild youth! *wicked grin*) As for the MSE droid, I'll try a different name. I may be victim of the filter in some way. LOL. The filter has been acting up recently (Tailors can't name their Sturdy Boots "Sturdy Boots" right now because "turd" is a no-no. That should, hopefully, be fixed in the second Pub 22 try tonight!)

Thanks for the input! I was looking for a higher rating, but couldn't afford the best of the best.111 was the highest I could find in an affordable price range that day, so I counted myself lucky and joyous. Tee hee. Mivia is my second fave toon, but she doesn't have the bankroll that my main toon, Irela, has! Someday....

Since when does SOE measure time in CDT??? It's always been PDT until tonight.
Followed by a list of alomost every US server I've heard of. LOL.
And I just got another client side patch, had one this morning too.

The call timer was only for vehicles, not pets/droids.

Yea because waiting to pull a vehicle was inconvieniant, but pulling a Droid or Pet is not /rolls eyes. I really don't udnerstand the difference. You can't pull one in combat anyway and there is a store timer, so what would doing the same for Droids / Pets hurt?
