My guess would be that Live got the client side of the publish not the server side (or at least not all of it).

Just as TC got the server side not the client side on Saturday.

Bah, I got all excited for nothing I guess. I haven't really used any droids since Pub21, since I'm also a CH I've been focusing on the new pet system. I thought this was going to fix some of the other stuff. Like the Structure Maintenence modules breaking if you destroy a building, or the fact that you don't even need a full combat droid for it to be as effective as one with just armor and a single combat module.

So basically they didnt push any DE fixes.

The second I read the sole patch note ("All droid modules will work properly.") I had to guffaw.

They fixed EVERY droid module? Sure...right. So many things wrong with that statement it's best to not even start in on it.

I'll bank on that one about the same time they reduce the monthly fee to $.99cents.

Looks like they've found the problem and hopefully have a fix for it (everything's being fixed internally right now).

I hope the fix that fixes the fix will fix the problem.

I'm not a DE but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE droids!!! Y'all rock. This is the first time this chick has posted on the DE forums, and I should have been here much earlier in praise of the beloved DEs who make a big part of my SWG experience sooooo enjoyable. Yep, I love my droids. Did I mention that I LOVE my droids? Hehehe. They get /kisses and /tickles everytime they do their job!

But off with the praise and on with the issue: With my second best toon (Mivia), I recently bought a harvest module droid (111 woo hoo!)and two storage droids before I knew of the current droid bugs (I don't hit the DE forum enough, I guess!). I was so glad to see about the fix today because my harvest droid won't show it's harvest options tab under the radial dial, so I can't use the little guy. And although the harvest droid accepted its name (Lost-Shaker-of-Salt), I cannot get the other two droids (one Protocol, one MSE) to accept their names.

I logged on today excitedly to see if my new babies would work properly. NOPE *sigh*

So I'll wait patiently for the real fix to happen and hope I can use my new harvest droid and name the others. My two questions:

1. Was the harvest droid really a part of the bug? I tried to find out by reading posts, but I'm not familiar with the DE forums, and as we all know, "Search" ain't all it's cracked up to be. (I just want to make sure I can have hope for the future with him!)

2. Are people having trouble naming any droids? Since I bought them at the same time but only the harvest droid would accept its name, I'm very puzzled. I know I used the proper techniques for naming them (I've named dozens of droids in my time). So I'm confused.

Thanks in advance for any help! And much luv, hugs, and kisses for a great profession that enhances our game play so much. Sometime, I may take the plunge and pick up the Droidsmith's Toolset I have secretly stored in a Cabinet in my home....
