Thread: Droid Update: Structure Maintenance module info on experimenting & stacking 05/13/04
Straker_Atrella wrote:Ok, another bug.
I have been putting these in Advanced MSE's with 1 storage and 1 Maint module. This appears to work fine, I was able to assign structures make maint runs and everything on Thursday with zero problems.
Now today I was moving a bunch of Harvesters, destroying them and such. I "figured" when the structure was destroyed, it would be off the droids list.
Yet when I tried to assign new structures, I got the "your droid is full, remove some structures" message. Ahh ok, well I figured the old structures didn't go away.
So I try and pull up the "Edit structure list," the option is there, but nothing happens. Same thing with the "maint run" window, option is there, but no window opens.
These worked fine on Thursday, so either SOE broke something, destryong a structure breaks something, or maxing out the droid breaks something.
I did report it, these modules are getting frustrating.
It is mentioned in another thread in this forum. I would like to confirm that this bug has happened to me as well as at least the person that started the other thread.

I've given up in that respect. Not wasting any more time or resources attempting to put this borked module into anything other than a Mouse droid until I see reports that its fixed.
I have decided that it's not a good idea to mix this module with anything else anyway, since using it removes the use of that droid for 30 minutes or so. I intend to sell them in MSE droids only.

30 min? try 4 hours. Back when I had a working one (that was Saturday) I sat between 2 harvesters and told the droid to service them. I got an imediate response that I had deposited credits to both harvesters and a message that said the droid would be finished in about 30 min. 30 MIN???? The structures were less than 60m that is 60 METERS from each other and I was sitting between them. Where did the droid go for 29 min and 59 sec? What were they thinking?
Now if I really wanted to make this droid useful I would get rid of the current bugs I would make it so I could deposit X credits into the droid, Y power, A list of structures and tell the droid to go take care of them. Call me when you run low of funds/power. Now that would be useful.

P.S. The droid broke when I removed the 2 structures before I removed them from the droid list.

I have an R3 unit with all the crafting stations in it, and a structure mx module. The structure mx module does not show in examine or in datapad, and I have no options in the Droid menu to use such module. So,this seems to support the poster that reported that Mx Mods do NOT work on R3 units.
