Thread: You know you are a Droid Engineer when...
...you read a post from Sintrosi about DEV communication and you realise that there is hope.
...you have Sintrosi as your Correspondent.
Had to do some Sintrosi praise. 
Ok before I add to this I have to say this is the funniest thread I've ever read in my life.
You know you are a Droid Engineer when
1. You burst runfrom customersevery time you sell aprobot
2. You give away more probots to your friends than you sell
3. You burst run from your friends
4.You wonder if your profession should be renamed an Architect (sp?) Supplier.
5. You explain SWG to your girlfriend and she at least prettends to be interested. You then explain your profession and she thinks you're crazy.
6. One day you calulate how many more Advanced Droid Frames until Master. You stare at the number, cry, go the forums, read the forums,and cry some more.
7. You get all excited when you see the "big" patch notes, scroll through the pages of Bio-Engineer and Armorsmiths enhancements, and totally miss the tiny Droid Engineer ones.
("droids that wern't build with armor will no longer have armor" ....WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT?? has this ever happend to anyone? ...I think they made up a bug)
8. You rely on the most bugged structure in the game. Your not surprised when some yells,"My factory went aggro and killed me!"
9. You read this thread and crack up really loud in the middle of one of your University's (sp...heh) crowded computor labs. You feel depressed because even if the people around you played Galaxies they wouldn't know what Droid Engineers are.

LMAO! That's so true... had that experience myself, almost exactly like that.
You know you're a Droid Engineer if
1. You feel guilty about charging somone 20k for a Surgical Droid when you know a MSE droid can do the same thing and is 1/20th the cost
2. You buy up 200k of the lowest quality steel you can find and pay 100k for it.
3. The person you bought said steel from thinks you're crazy for buying steel with no stats above 100
4. You use the steel to build an advanced probot and sell it to the guy you bought the steel from for 25k
5. A day you see him with a cowardly gurrak and he tells you that your droid was a piece of junk.
6. You think MSE droids make the most annoying sounds in the known universe
7. You've had a list of bugs on the forum for months and the most response you've gotten was through your correspondent that a dev looked at it and said "that's quite a list - I'll look into it" as if he had never seen it before in his life.
8. You tell people not to become a droid engineer, not because you're greedy, but because you're a humanitarian
9. You watch the Starwars movies and try to count the ammount of times you see anyone using an animal as a weapon... i counted 4 (including the new starwars movies)
10. You enjoy making furniture yet have no architect skills.
OR
11. You hate making furniture, but if you don't then you can't make money to make more droids that don't work.
12. You yell at a brick wall "FIX DROID ENGINEERING PLEASE!!!" and feel that you've accomplished something.
13. If feel like you can keep writing these things all day and never repeat yourself.
....when your excited to get the experimentation tree to make cooler chassis
....when you re-do your entire driod display with those new colors in a theme...
You offer to GIVE you're best in-game buddy's new twink character a probot with armor VI and he says, nah, that's ok (insert excuse here)....
You have taken back all your old Star Wars figures from your kid (and stolen his droideka and probot figures) for the shrine on top of your monitor....
You spend more time making crazy displays like a droid museum and an enormously complex binary load lifter / battle droid mech for your house thanyou do makin real droids....

- You get a /tell from someone with droid questions and every answer you give starts with "I'm sorry".
- You become bitter when you see all the cowardly gurrecks and whip out an MSE to /follow them until they demand you call it off.
- You watch the patch notes, looking to see which DE function will be broken next.
- Watching Star Wars episode I makes you cry.
- You look at Master Chefs with envy.
I just love this thread...
You know you are a Droid Engineer when you just realize that you agree to all the posts of this thread...

...you think the topic should be rephrased to say "You know you WERE a Droid Engineer when..."
...the game is more work than fun
...people ask you what droids are good for, and you honestly cant think of anything
...your embarrased to wear yourMDE title out in public
...you also picked carbine as your weapon specialty
...you know you will never make a CH charactor, just out of spite
...overcharge CHs for your items, days before a patch you know will stop CHs from using them to exploit datapad pet limits
...you watch the CH threads with as much (if not more)interest as a CH does
...you agree with another DE that this can go on all day without repeating, and just leave it at that
heheh ill add one:
You Know you're a DE when:
You travel to every planet doing searches for other droid engineers and you find that you're the only one....and you don't feel lucky, just stupid that you're the only master DE left that hasn't changed his title
You can't sell any droids because you need higher level skills to fill orders.
You can't get higher level skills because you don't have resources.
You don't have resources because you can't get enough money to run your super expensive harvesters.
You don't have any money because no one wants to buy your droids.
You know your a Droid Engineer when...
- You start playing SimCity 4 Rush Hour instead of Galaxies
- You pretend to have dropped all your droid skills when people request a droid cause you REALLY don't feel like making it
- You /duel anyone who asks you if you can make Droidekas yet
- You stalk the developers and hijack their threads posting your bug list
- You watch StarWars and wonder why Luke doesn't have a pet rancor
