Yea that is just dumb. I would love to have a driod army but oh wait... What gould would an army of **edit**ty ass probots do. All of them combined would do as much damg as a med lvl gun. In star wars combat and driods go hand in hand. In star wars galaxies fighting and driods dont mean a thing. A probot is just about as good as a gnort.

Sorry, I can't agree with the idea. In my mind it would turn us into a combination Bio Engineer and Creature handler. Better that we only create the goodies that everyone else uses. DE is a crafter class with no weapon certs.

Now while De might not be the best class to allow a player to control an army of droids, the Squad Leader profession just might. I mean here's a profession whos whole reason for being is commanding others. What better profession to give the ability to control armies with? Yeah I know thier supposed to be coordinating groups of PC's, but better them than us.

And if the droid armies they control are in some way disposable and in need of constant replacement after so many uses like Bh droids, so much the better. More work for us.

I agree, how much code would it take to allow you to have more than one droid out? Not much I would think, as they have already changed CH's.

As a new novice droid engineer I would really like to be able to have my own little squad of droids. To make it fair I think 3-5 is a good amount.

Triple damage from probots = 150 dmg correct (I do not have a probot but someone posted that the dmg is 50)? Thats the same as a CL 15 pet. My observations while /examine'ing creatures have been that dmg is roughly cl * 10:

CL 15 = 140 - 150 dmg
...
CL 275 (Canyon Krayt Dragon) = 2650 - 2750 dmg

This is what I've seen while examining existing animals, I have a master ranger (haven't played him much recently though) and I used to run around examining every animal I saw and snapping a screenshot and this is what I typically saw. May not be the rule, but seems like it more often than not. This is why I don't understand why Probot = 50 dmg? But 150 dmg output is about a CL 15 creature, same as a non-ch pet.
