Thread: if you sell adv probots with 110% med and food/chem station...
Yeah, won't sell them for 15k. I sell all my advanced probots for 6k regardless of what's in them.

I don't get all the fuss really. I sell them cheap, but still maintain a good profit.
I sell a Adv. R3 for 16-17k with the following components:
Medical Module lvl 6
Data Storage Module lvl 6
Item Storage Module lvl 4
Droid Repair Module
Any type of Crafting Station
The problem as I see it, is that crafters buy only one droid from you, and keep it for life.
Since they don't do combat with it, it won't get damaged.
But just because they only want one droid, doesn't mean they should pay 500-1000%
on top ofthe resource cost.

I must be in a place were none of the 'standard rules' apply. At least 75% of the time, I sell two different droids with the same features, to the same crafting customer. Maybe its becasue I refuse to sell any of the 'more popular' droids (Probots, Surgicals, LEs, R2s, Protocols, and, R3s) with modules included for over 20k. It could also be that I send at least 50% of my time helping everyone that stops by my shop with there questions and that I will be honest with them about any question that they ask. The aboved mentioned droids are the only ones that I make (plus the Power Droid and hopefull soon the BLL) and turn away at least 2-3 customers a week that are looking for one of the lower class droids wih all of the functions. I even turned away someone asking for an MSE with all of the modules that was willing to pay 10k for it. Call me foolish, but I have set principles that I follow when conducting business and decided from the beginning that I wasn't out to make large amounts of credits. As it stands, I have more credtis than I know what to do with at the moment, since I have an very nice weapon, full set of compostie armor, Guild Hall as a Shop front, and enough resources to build in the neighborhood of 1000 droids. I've done all of this by selling Advanced Probots with the complete medical package of 15k, along with a few other Droids.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it be a better idea to put all of the crafting station types, strictly into Probots, since they are the only droid that has a a possiblity of ever needing to be replaced? Probots are the only Droid that I even see losing large amounts of Vitatlity, and that vitatlity damage can only be replaced so many times before the droid finally dies. I've already had a few return customers come back to me to by a couple of new Probots, since they beat their old ones to the ground.

On Lowca I sell an adv. probot with 2 up to level 4 modules and medium 40% armor for 15k, or with 2 level 6 modules and medium 40% armor for 18k. I do not sell a lot at that price.
I think you may be wasting a lvl 6 armor mod I only put one lvl 6 and I get 40% resists med armor in my probots.
There's a guy selling advanced Probots on Ahazi for 3k, and that's with full armor (probably a pair of level 4's). He manufactures them in a factory and puts 'em up on the bazaar about 10 at a time.
I've hadseveral Surgical Droids with Med-6, Food Crafting Station, and Item Storage-4 on my vendor at 10k for several days now and haven't moved any of them.
500 for a Seeker, 1000 for an Arakyd. If you're lucky.
Maybe 5k for an R-series droid with a crafting station, full item storage, and full data storage.
I'm not complaining, mind you. I'm a Master Droid Engineer and have a full complement of heavy harvesters to use whenever I find good resources, so my average cost per resource unit is well under 1 credit. 3-4 credits per resource on the sales end isn't great, but it also doesn't totally suck given my costs.
Where I said I put 2 level 6 modules and medium 40% armor, I was referring to level 6 modules like medical 6 and item storage 6, not two level 6 armor pieces =)
