Thread: questions on the NGE

Its a standard marketing practice. If you give places like gamespot and IGN exclusive info they're more likely to write positive reviews.

I guess that makes sense.
At this stage I'm more concerned with what is going to happen to the vendors. I currently have 10, and I'm hearing that 7 is going to be the max number, with total sales space limited to something like 2500 items. Anyone hear this or confirm it through TC?
What does it matter how many vendors you have, if you dont have anything to sell?
As it stands, the only droids that stand any chance of still being functional, will be entertainer droids. What remains of DE will still need to be completely revamped. Noncombatants haven't been considered since before the first CU, and they aren't being considered seriously now.
Jenden, you're doing a great job trying to suss out some info for us. I'm just exceptionally bitter. You and I were both there for the CU Alpha, when we were specifically promised that crafting and entertainment, and everything else "not in the scope of the CU" was going to be addressed as soon as the CU was done and working. Instead we have months of increasing bugs, and little or no resolution. Except now, we're told that many professions are being removed because no one plays them. They never even consider the number of people with token respecs and accounts in hibernation that were simply waiting for them to deliver what they promised. Now they decide that the core combat issues need to be revamped again, and the crafters and anyone not a combatant can either wait, leave, or be eliminated.
Yeah this is my mini-rant, one of many of them I've been stewing on. I became full combatant and played mostly in space while waiting on them to fix my beloved DE profession. Now, I have to consider giving it all up, because I see them trying to hand me the short end of the stick yet again, and I'm tired of it.
