Thread: DE aint great
>By the way, most MMORPG's are boring games with nothing else to do but run stupid missions, fight monsters, and craft stuff. If you don't like this, then try playing a bloody shooter game. RPG's aren't for you anyway if you complain about taking two weeks to do anything. Heck 2 weeks ain't nothing.
Thanks for your advice; yu can go back to being twelve again now.

Again you do not understand. Resource shift has nothing to do with it. The harvesters were fully maintained. That is what i am saying to you. They were only paid for 24 hours because i check them every 24 hours (i cant afford to pay them to run on their own longer). i know full well how harvesters work and these ones havent. i cant keep on saying this.
*SIGH*
No use trying to explain to the guy. Just let this thread die into oblivion. He obviously is being persecuted by his harvesters, no other possibilty exists.
I agree. Let it die. This guy has been playing since 1-25-03. He has played for two weeks and is a guru. And all of us Veterans who have been here since near the beginning are wrong.
A little advice: it takes a heck of a lot longer than 2 weeks to know what the heck is going on in this game. And don't come to the DE forum thinking you know everything and not expect people to try to tell you you don't have a clue. And when people here try to help you, don't rebuff it and try to sound like you know everything. The best way to look totally stupid is to act like you know everything.

it took me two weeks to reach novice DE and that is what i am talking about. As for the rest of the game - youtell me what i have left out in my description of the gameplay?
Yeah, the only good part of becomming Master Artisan is that you have a starting platform to a lot of other professions. Unfortunately, if you choose to become a Master Droid Engineer, your skills are of no use in the game (I know bacuse I talked to an MDE I know). Nobody wants to buy droids, why should they? Combat droids are pretty useless, so are a lot of the other droids. The only droid thing people want to buy from me is for example a R4 droid frame thay can put in their houses for decoration purposes (!). That pretty much shows you how "smart" this profession is made ("nice going" game-devs, you really made a rotten job there).
So why be a MDE? I want to become a MDE just for my own fun. I want to build silly droids in strange colours, and perhaps the developers will at some time give MDE skills they can actually use for something in the game. I am not sure that I want for publish 7 or 8 though.
